I was never a happy child; I never was the one to just fit in. Always the awkward one, always the friendless one, but then again it wasn’t my fault.
I was just walking on the streets of Paris, on my way to my job at ‘Barneys’, the most un-classiest place of the country, actually the most un-classiest place in the world! But I have no choice; I am young and good looking with no education past high school so it left me no options. The tips are good, I suppose and me being a vampire, means I never am tired so I can work a lot and still look the same. My nickname is Snowflake, no guesses why..
As I walked through the crowds of hundreds of people, I was suddenly pulled. All of a sudden, my two arms are being dragged by two tall men with dark clothes on. A blonde girl accompanying my side, my powers took over me and I zoned out, an instant reaction. They dragged me into a black car and sat me on the seat. The blonde girl sat beside me and the two men sat in the front.
The blonde girl started to look at me as if I had two heads, ‘'Complete strangers, dressed in black drag you off the street, into a car and you don’t resist or say a word?’'
All three eyes were staring at me, my emotionless face did not change, I answered with a shrug.
One of the men joked, '‘Are you sure, she isn’t Marcus’ daughter?’'
The other two just glared at him as if he said the most offending thing in the world.
Marcus....That sounds familiar, I thought to myself.
'‘ Is your gift, having no emotion?’' The blonde one asked me.
‘'Sort of, it is like zoning out, feeling nothing, saying very little, having no reaction to anything horrible, it comes as an instinct when something bad or unexpected comes.'’ I drawled out as slow as if it was some sort of intense poem.
‘'Ah, that explains that then.'’ Both men said in unison.
After about ten minutes of driving in complete silence, I started to become back to normal again and more alert. I finally asked '‘Where are you taking me?’'
‘'About time you asked, Aro has been looking for you, for some time now'’ The blonde girl explained as she looked out the window, bored.
My cold un-beating heart almost revived itself, to start beating rapidly. It obviously didn’t do so as I have been dead for nearly 2,000 years now. But if it was possible then it would happen as the shock of hearing Aro’s name was unbelievable. I knew Aro too well, and there was no way I would go to see him, no way to hell and back a thousand times over.
‘I am not going!’ I began to protest, it came out as a real angry, intensely scary tone. A tone that would be suitable in the movie ‘Chuckey’
All of a sudden, the car came to a erupt stop. Everyone turned their head to look at me, even as vampires, fear was evident upon their faces.
‘'I am sorry, so so so sorry'’ I began to whisper as I laid back on the seat.
The car began to move again and I felt the girl stare at me.
‘'I -I’m J-J-Jane, by t-the way'’ The blonde girl spluttered out, still scared of my sudden outburst.
I replied with a glance.
