10) Friends, family, they're all the same

We had just finished filming, and I stuck my head out of the TARDIS doors for fresh air when I saw my best friends walking towards here. They were all arguing as to where they were meant to go when Jess spotted me. She said something to the others and they all looked and waved. I stuck my tongue out at them before shutting the doors and turning around.

'Emily, Kat's looking for you.' Arthur said.

'Thanks Arthur.' I said before running to the costume trailer to find Kat.

'Emily, there you are.' Kat said. 'Time to get changed, I heard you have some friends coming to visit.'

'Yep!' I said with a smile on my face.

'Get changed then you can go greet them.' Kat said and I nodded, running into the wardrobe where I had my clothes waiting. I was currently wearing my costume, but changed out of it quickly and tied my hair up into a messy bun on the top of my head. I changed into a white and blue skater dress (the skirt had a blue flower pattern), a pair of white sandals and put a blue flower necklace around my neck, gold bangles on my right arm and white sunnies on my head. I kept on the makeup I had on for filming, mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss. I checked myself in the mirror before going back to Kat.

'Thanks Emily, go see your friends.' Kat said when I handed her back my costume. I rushed out, putting my sunnies on to my eyes as I went. It was a hot summer's day (I really didn't know how Matt could stand being in his costume), hence why I put a dress on. I hurried over to my friends, who were talking with my personal assistant (she basically just got me everywhere on time), Felicia.

'Lisha!' I called, running over. 'Is there anything else on today?'

'No, but you have a read through tomorrow for the next episode. A script will be given to you today though.' Felicia said.

'Coolies! Thanks.' I said, smiling then turning to my friends. 'Sorry for keeping you waiting.'

'No problem.' They said.

'Follow me to my trailer.' I said and we walked to my trailer which wasn't too far.

'It's really pretty Em!' Jess said when we walked inside.

'Thanks, I decorated it myself.' I said, smiling. 'You can put your stuff over near the wardrobe, then we can go to lunch.'

Cassie, Jess and Blake put their stuff away and we walked to the Blue Box Cafe, talking as we went. As we got to the cafe, I saw Matt, Karen and Arthur and ran up to Matt, hugging him.

'Hey Em.' Matt said smiling.

'Emily, I have your script for the next episode.' Steven said, walking up to us. Cassie, Jess and Blake had reached us by then and were standing in awe.

'Thanks Steven.' I said, taking the bunch of papers he was holding out to me.

'I'm guessing these are your friends?' Steven asked.

'Yeah.' I said as he shook their hands and they introduced themselves.

'Hey Em, would you and your friends like to come shopping later?' Karen asked.

'Sure! Who wants to come?' I asked my friends.

'Me!' Jess and Cassie said while Blake shook his head.

'I'm good, I'll hang out with Matt and Arthur.' Blake said.

'Come young Blake, we shall find something to do.' Matt said before walking away with Blake and Arthur.

'Kaz, we need to get our wallets and stuff from my trailer.' I said.

'I'll come with you, I need to get my stuff as well.' Karen said and the four of us walked to our trailers. I grabbed my wallet and phone and walked back outside to meet Karen. Cassie and Jess were still inside, and walked out to meet us after a couple of minutes.

'Ready?' Karen asked and they nodded.

'Kaz, I really hope you aren't driving.' I said seriously.

'No, we're taking a taxi.' Karen replied.

'Thank God for that.' I said and Cassie and Jess giggled.

There was a taxi already waiting for us in the carpark of the studios. Karen hopped in the front seat and Cassie, Jess and I hopped in the back. It took us about 5 minutes to get to the shopping center where Karen paid the driver and we all hopped out.

'Oh, by the way Em, Matt gave me this to give to you.' Karen said, taking out a credit card with my name on it. 'He said it's your money, and to use it well.'

'Thanks Kaz!' I said before taking the card and putting it into my wallet.

'Let's go shopping!' Karen said, taking Jess and my hands and I grabbed Cassie's.

We shopped for the rest of the day, buying whatever we liked. Eventually, we decided to go back to the studios, hailing a cab and getting back by 5 in the afternoon.

Karen left us to go to her trailer while we went to mine. I unpacked all my stuff into my wardrobe, and Cassie and Jess left theirs next to their bags.

One thing we had all gotten while shopping was a really nice dress and shoes. Karen made us get them, but she wouldn't tell us why. I had bought a pale blue dress that came to mid thigh with diamonties along the skirt line. I got a pair of small silver heels and a blue clutch to match. Jess had a pale pink dress that went to mid thigh with lace and embroidery up the top (A/N Picture on side). She had a pair of small gold heels and a pink clutch to match. Cassie had a white one sleeve dress with black flower detailing and a small black belt (A/N Again, picture on side). She had a pair of small black heels and a black clutch to match.

Our unpacking was interupted by a knock on the door. I opened it to see Karen.

"Emily! Get ready with those dresses we bought, we're going out for dinner tonight. Be ready by 7." Karen said.

"Okay. Thanks Kaz." I replied. She smiled before going back to her trailer. I shut the door and told the others the plan. We all had a shower and put our dresses on before doing each others hair.

Jess left my hair out, curling it, I put Cassie's hair up in a bun, leaving some bits of hair out on the side and curling them and Cassie did small halo braids in Jess's hair, straightening the rest. We put on our shoes and waited for the boys to knock.
