Extremely Close But Unbelievably Far Away

Introduction - Present Time

I was brushing my hair when someone knocked on the dressing room's door. We're having the people from clevver TV over today, and I wanna make sure that I don't look too bad.

I should start this off by introducing myself. I'm Laura Marano, I'm 17, I'm an actress and I have a small and still new singing career...I am in a show called Austin&Ally on Disney Channel and I consider myself pretty lucky.

"Hey Laura, open up!" Someone yelled from outside, clearly the red haired boy. I open the door and there he is, the hilarious Calum Worthy. "What?" I ask looking in the mirror and fixing my hair, once again, While Calum just stood there giggling. "You look good Laura let's go, the people from clever are already here!" He says pulling me. "Fine, I'm coming". I say smiling and getting out of the dressing room, I've been in there for about 2 hours, pretty lonely ugh? No, I guess sometimes you just want to be alone for a little while.

I am currently drinking a Starbucks moca, sitting on a small chair next to Sonic Boom's door.

"Hey!" That's Raini's voice. "What's up girl?!" I say making her laugh.

"They are calling you, you have to start the interviews!" She says grabbing me. Why is everyone grabbing me today? "Okay, going, By M y s e l f" I speak slowly making her laugh once again.

"I'm Dana Ward, from Clevver Tv, and I'm here with Laura Marano! Hi girl!" I smile "Hi everyone!" She smiles.."How are you?"

"I'm great thank you..." 

And that interview went on...We talked about Austin and Ally and myself, and plans for the future, and season 3 of A&A...and co-stars and A&A, and that was pretty much it, but I like them, they are always good fun, and me being my awkward self, I feel like I can myself 'cause they will laugh at my corny jokes, ya know.

"I'm exhausted and I have school tomorrow, kill me now." I say lying on Ross' dressing room sofa.

"Says the girl who loves school" He jokes. "Ha very funny...I bet you couldn't handle it Shor!" I say like I've just said the most iconic joke ever! He laughs and shakes his head in disappointment."Okay, I tried!" I say, he just smiles.

"But aren't you tired tho?" I ask, while he keeps on dribbling this basketball none stop, I don't understand, he calls me the energetic ones but he literally doesn't stop, EVER.

"Noup. I mean I kinda am, but Playing sports keeps me awake!" I laugh. "Playing sports keeps you awake, and I am the weird one" I laugh, once again, corny as hell and he just snorts.

He suddenly stops playing and seats next to me. He puts his hand over mine. I know where this is going.

"Is everything fine?" He asks. "I told you Ross. Everyhting's okay." He dosen't seem convinced. "Laura c'mon, give me an honest answer" He says making me smile. "I hurts, but that doens't mean it isn't fine." I say, and he lets go of my hand and gets up.

"Yes it does!" He kind of screams. "Can't you see that I have done everything I can to get this"...He gesticulates towards us..."back to normal" He says sitting down again and looking down at the floor.

"I'm sorry, I just don't feel that it Will ever be same bec..." He interrupted me "So then let's be together" He says. "Ross..." He gets up again. Geez the kid won't stop.

"I'm serious...you can't deny it. You do want that too, am I wrong?" He smiles. "Yes I do, but ross thing's aren't like th..." H interrupts me once again.

"Yes they are! Stop acting like what happened before is going to change this. And by this I mean us. And...feelings! God dammit why is it so hard for you to admit! "He says storming out of the room.

I should probably go back in time like a year or something...
