"Thank you." Hyomin eyed the girl who was looking around, trying to avoid eye contact. Hyomin bit her lip, she did accept the girls apology, but deep in the pit of her stomach something wasn't right. Hyomin's instincts began to kick in and her head was spinning.

"When were you released?" Hyomin blurted out. She covered her mouth with her hands and looked at Seulgi's wide eyes "I-I'm so sorry... I-I don't know why I asked that".

Seulgi smiled lightly and waved her hand in the air "Don't worry about it, if I was in your shoes I'd be curious about it too".

Hyomin smiled nervously and sipped on her drink, waiting for the girl to start talking.

"Basically I was let out for good behavior. They said I learned the consequences of my actions and let me out and my parents also decided to pay for my bail. I was let out almost a year ago" She paused and sipped her drink "I've always wanted to be an idol ever since I was little. I didn't know you'd be under the same company as me when I got accepted as a trainee. So I don't want you to think I was trying to copy you or anything"

Hyomin waved her hands in front of her frantically "No I didn't think that. I'm glad people are working under Big Hit since its not that popular"

Seulgi just nodded and looked into her coffee cup as the awkward atmosphere returned. Hyomin admired the way Seugli looked. Her hair grew longer and she dyed it black. It also looks like she's gotten skinner. How is it that someone could spend years in confinement and come out looking more  gorgeous than when she went into confinement?

Hyomin just shook the thoughts out of her head. "I should probably head out, it was nice catching up with you" Hyomin smiled sincerely to the raven haired girl.

Seulgi smiled back "Yeah, we should hangout again some time" Hyomin just nodded and sent a wave of goodbye before exiting the cafe.

Hyomin let out a breath she didnt know she was holding.

Maybe things did change.

Change is good

"So how did it go?" Hyomin jumped as voices began to speak to her as she walked into her dorm.

Hyomin looked at seven boys sitting in her living room staring curiously at her.

"It's nice to know even in my own home I don't have privacy" Hyomin rolled her eyes as she hung her winter jacket up on the coat rack.

"Ooo someones feisty today, reminds me of a high school Hyomin" Jimin teased and elbowed Jungkook.

"Shut it, Park" Hyomin snapped.

"I'm assuming the talk didn't go very well?" Taehyung asked carefully, trying not to enrage the female further.

"It went well, actually" Hyomin said bluntly.

"Then why are you in such a fowl mood?" Namjoon asked.

"Thats the thing, I shouldn't be in a mood. Our reunion went well but why do I have the feeling deep in the pit of my stomach that something isn't right?" Hyomin held her hand on her stomach and shook her head "It seems like she's changed but-"

"You're afraid she's just acting" The seven boys said on top of her. Hyomin sighed and nodded.

"I don't blame you" Jin said "if someone stabbed me in the stomach I wouldn't trust anyone either"

Hyomin winced at the memory, her hand holding her stomach absentmindedly.

"Look, lets just see how things turn out" Taehyung shrugged.
