Rose's P.O.V
Time seemed to stop as Stella and I glared at each other, she was as slutty as they came, always going after the guys who are taken, it's like second nature to her. Funny thing is we used to be friends.
Key Words : Used to
"Ewww ! Look what the cat dragged in." I said, crossing my arms over my chest, yeah that was pretty childish but whatever.
"Eww your face." Stella countered, and if you thought I was childish, well she's worse.
"Don't you start with me you little skunk, haven't you caused enough trouble." I said, rubbing my temples, she's not worth it. I repeated over and over in my head.
"This is only the beginning." She sneered, and I rolled my eyes, she's kidding right? I thought to my self.
"Oh I'm so scared." I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm. Stella mimicked me but in all honesty she sounded like a dying roach.
"Can you like shut up for five minutes or maybe the rest of your life if possible ??" I retorted and she smirked.
"Aww is it that time of the month Rose?" she asked sympathetically, placing her right hand over her heart.
I ignored her, and turned to Celeste.
"Can I please smack her until her cheek is redder than her cheap lipstick?" I ask her, knowing Stella was listening since I heard her scoff. Oh she thinks i won't do it. We'll see about that.
"Rose you promised you wouldn't slap her again." Celeste said with an amused look.
"Oh come on Celeste, I promise not to hit her that hard this time." I chuckled, while Stella and her best friend Diana glared at us.
That's right the day I caught them cheating I didn't do anything, I was heart broken and would probably do something I regretted. But the next day she was practicing her dance routine and I went up to her dropped her like it's hot to the ground and smacked her so hard you could hear it in Russia.
"Wow Rose I thought you wanted to spend time together this summer but no your letting unimportant bullshit like Stella and Diana get to you." Celeste sighed.
"Fine I'll just pretend I don't hear that hoe bag run her mouth" I slummed my shoulders.
"Or we can leave the cabin and head over to the lake?" she suggested. I nodded in agreement.
Celeste and I didn't waste much time, we got out of that cabin and walked over to the lake.
"Omg finally no drama." I said in relief, but this is just the beginning like Stella said, i still have a whole month to go, but I'll be damned if i let her and Tristan ruin this for me.
Celeste and I enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake while soaking in the sun, but something caught my eye.
"Look Celeste, they got boats this year." I exclaimed, this camp was great, but there were never any boats, i can't believe they finally got some, this is amazing.
She looked up and smiled.
"What are we waiting for?" She said, and we both got up and dashed to the camp counselors office. There sitting was a chubby lady with cat glasses, jotting something down on a paper.
I cleared my throat and spoke up.
"We'd like to use one of the boats." I said, the lady looked up from her paper glaring at Celeste and I.
"The rule is four people per boat." She said rolling her eyes like it was the most obvious thing.
"Celeste who are we going to take?" I sighed in irritation just great, we don't have four people.
"Ummm.... Rose." She whispered, nudging me to turn around.
"What?? " I sighed, and turned around to see Tristan and Ryan his idiot best friend entering the office laughing like hyenas.
They completely ignored us, and asked the lady if they can use a boat but like she said to us there had to be four, ha take that idiots.
Then the lady decided to speak, with the hideous voice of hers.
"Well you four can go together." she said, as she started putting a wristband on Celeste's wrist.
I scoffed, pfft. Yeah right. "I'd rather get-"
"Hey! I don't have time for this okay, either you go or you don't." She said, shaking her head as she put the wristbands on Ryan and Tristan.
"Not going." I said, my voice flat.
"Oh c'mon Rose, I've been wanting to go on a boat for so long and so have you, it wont be that bad please." Celeste pouted, and I rolled my eyes.
"Fine."
Once we got to the boat, I sat as far away from Tristan as possible. To my convenience he was just laughing along with Ryan, not acknowledging my presence which was a win win.
I finally started to relax as I closed my eyes and was just enjoying the wind in my face. But that was short lived.
Tristan sped up the boat, and I had to hold onto something so I wouldn't fall.
"Jerk!" I screamed at him, and he sped up faster. What an idiot !! i thought to myself as i rolled my eyes at him.
Oh that's it. I cautiously stood up and walked over to him, yanking the motor out of this hand, but he didn't seem to give up that easily.
We fought for the motor, and I felt the boat going into different directions, but i wasn't paying attention to that right now, i just need to get this motor out of his slimy hands.
"Let go!" I yelled in his ear.
"You!" He yelled back, and i pushed him with all my might causing him to fall back.
I grinned in triumph when he landed with an 'oomph'. I turned back to the motor and tried starting it up, but it wouldn't.
Tristan was getting up but I smacked him on the shoulder.
"What did you do! The motor isn't running." I groaned, what a dumb ass.
He tried getting the motor do start again, but no such luck.
Oh god, this cannot be happening I'm suck in the middle of the lake with none other than Tristan.
Great.
