Chapter Two

Jace POV [Point of View]
Early morning 6:45 AM for me. I repeat my morning ritual look at my hands and repeat "Jace Akabe, Age: 15, Birthday: July 5th." Then the usual I have to hurry take a quick shower and get ready.

Now it's 7:10, a few minutes have passed, next to my bed I see my siblings. Sleeping like a log what a surprise. No not really,"Chibi! Kiki! Keishi! Wake up!" I say as I pull their blankets. "You know that you have school, twenty more minutes until we leave." I say in my fatherly voice," Now hurry little children."

Twenty minutes have passed. 7:30 AM now. Hurrying up and down, helping my sibling, I get there backpacks as we run out. Ten year old, Keishi runs out screaming at me, "Don't be bossing me around one day I'll grow taller than you!" Chiba as fast as always, the twelve year old mature brother of mine, hurries as he pulls my younger sister, Kiki, age eight. Chibi once again screamed the same as always," Aniki, Kiki needs help we can't let her run much you know her condition!"

Knowing that I must run to leave them and run to school myself, I hurry. "You two keep running!" I say to the boys. "Kiki now get on my back." I say as I set up to give her a piggyback ride. We rushed and I left them at school. I trying to catch my breath give them a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek for Kiki,"I love you all be careful, I'll make rice and beans for dinner tonight!" I wave goodbye and rush to school.

Then I noticed I have first period language arts and second period math I start planning to ditch. Oops those kids ahead have to avoid getting in trouble with them, I thought as I avoid that one kids name I believe Kiro, and his group? All rich kids. I hurry as I see, Koto, Kanbe and Mei run towards me. What a way to start my day right?!

"No guys not in a mood" I say as I slowly walk away. Then as an annoyance they continue bothering me. "Go dig a holes somewhere I'm not in a mood to fight with you guys, challenge me later or tomorrow!" I start heading toward the roof. Once at the roof I lay down and start looking up at the sky I thought I'll stay here until third period. And just lost myself in my thoughts as well as sleep.
