"Nicole" Jonah lightly shook me as I woke up "hmm" was all I could work out "I have to get home but I'll see you at school tomorrow" I nodded as he kissed me "goodnight baby" I waved as he walked out and I turned over. I checked my phone and laughed a little, Cecily and my grandmother have texted me.

Cc: so, we like Jonah, dislike whatever his name was, and we are inviting Jonah to the pool party this weekend?

Nicole: I don't want to push him into the family and then it not work out cc

Cc: grow a pair, this is what your always scared of but this time he actually came and saw us, finally we met a boy. This is a good step, invite him the kids had such a fun time with him today.

Nicole: okay okay, I will bring it up tomorrow at school, Jonah seems perfect right?

Cc: perfect for you? Yes for me? No

Nicole: what does that mean

Cc: that you only get one soulmate but tons of people to love.

Nicole: soulmate?

Cc: how did y'all relationship start anyway?

Nicole: yeah

Grandma: I had fun today, Jonah seems like a really nice boy that will take care of you, I say stick with him. Also are you going the pool party next weekend?

Nicole: yes I am, cc wants me to ask Jonah to come, is that like over stepping it?

Grandma: no I don't think so, the kids had a great time with him today and you seem so happy when he is around so go ahead and invite him. Are you going to tell him the story of us?

Nicole: I feel like I should, he knows mom and dad aren't really ever here and just hand me thousands of dollars but he doesn't know all of it.

Grandma: go ahead and tell him, i will see you this weekend love ❤️

Nicole: I love you

Grandma: I love you too.

I place my phone on the charger and looked at my roof, maybe telling Jonah about why my grandma and aunt are like my parents is a smart idea. I don't know how he will react to the whole pool party thing, I don't want him to think I'm going crazy with the whole family it's just if my family doesn't like him then it isn't happening.

I woke up to my alarm, I rolled out of bed and took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, did my makeup and hair, got dressed and left. As I walked into school Kylie and Daniel walked up to me "so how did it go at grandmas" Kylie said as I laughed a little.

"Really well, got a pool party for one of the kids birthday parties next weekend" Daniel laughed a little. Soon tanner, Jonah, and jack had joined us at my locker "see you guys at lunch" they all nodded as we went our different ways.

I sat down at the lunch table and pulled out my phone, my phone has been blowing up in class and normally it doesn't do that.

Cc: did you ask him?
Cc: hello?
Cc: are you getting my text?
Cc: oh shit you're in school
Cc: sorry
Cc: oh fuck I should stop texting you.

Nicole: um no I haven't asked him yet, yeah I'm in school.

Mom: trip got set back a few weeks, going to be gone another month, sending money in back account now. Love you

Nicole: love you too, grandma missed you at her birthday party yesterday

Mom: was that yesterday?

Nicole: yep, same day it is every year

Jonah: parents wanted to know if you wanna to go to dinner tonight?

Nicole: sure, what time also I need to ask you something

Jonah: I'll come pick you up at 7:30 and what's up

Nicole: Cecily wanted to know if you wanted to be my plus one to her kids pool party next weekend, but it's cool if you don't want to.

Jonah: I'd love too

I smiled as everybody sat down at the lunch table, this time Jonah had sat by me and Kylie sat by tanner with Jake soon joining her. Jonah had held my hand throughout lunch under the table and I felt like a middle school relationship but I didn't even care.
