"Have all the arrangements been made Guru Brihad?"Dvijesh asks with nervousness in his voice.

"Of course, Dvijesh. Do u think I would let mistakes happen on such an ocassion? Today finally both the brothers will come together, Suryaketu and Chandraketu are going to come together. Finally bhu (here it it is referred to as India) will unite under two kings." Brihad looks towards the sky and joins his hands to pray.

--------------------

"Come on, didi(sister). Let's go. Come fast."

"Wait Shivpriya(loved by Shiva). I am coming." Buddhana(the enlightened spirit) says with a hollowness in her voice.

-------------------

"What? How can that be? His majesty Asrasya had sent us a message before, that he would come to Suryaketu and tie a friendly knot with the Chandravirs(warriors of the moon god)." Brihad tells with clear worry in his voice.

"Don't worry Sage Brihad. The Suryavirs (warriors of the sun god) are yet your friends and have no intention of breaking ties with you." The messenger replies the teacher with confidence in his voice and continues.

"His majesty could not come to Suryaketu because he was busy with the yagya(sacrificial ritual) performed by purohit Achalanda."

"Something does not seem right to me, Dvijesh. Why would a yagya be so important to devarvati(brother-in-law) than this?" Buddhana whispers to Dvigesh who was still quite.

"I don't know Buddhana." Dvijesh whispers back.

"It is a great honour for me, the Chandravirs and all members of the court present here. May we begin with the proceedings? Das (servant) please take the dhut (messenger) to athithya kaksh(guest chambers). "Brihad commands the servant in line.

"No..no, Brihadji. I am fine. Er...I have orders from his majesty Asrasya. I want to tell everyone present in this court something. I need his majesty Dvijesh Chandravir 's and her majesty's attention to what I want to say." The messenger pauses for a while after gaining the attention of every living and non living being in the court.

The messenger takes out a scroll from his bag, decorated with beautiful velvet diamonds and reads,
"DEAR DVIJESH,
FINALLY WE HAVE COME TOGETHER. I ASK FOR YOUR FORGIVENESS FOR EVERY WRONG THING THAT I HAVE DONE TO YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE. I JOIN MY HANDS WITH YOU NOW. I AM EXTREMELY SORRY FOR NOT COMING TO SURYAKETU. I HAD TO BE PRESENT AT THE ASHWAMEGH(a sacrificial ritual done by a king to represent his grandeur) RITUAL, WHICH WAS VERY IMPORTANT.
PLEASE TELL BUDDHANA TO STOP GETTING SUSPICIOUS OVER ME. AH, I KNOW IT ALL. SHE AND HER SUSPICION. WELL, COMING TO THE POINT, I WILL BE COMING TO SURYAKETU THE NEXT VASAR (week). BE READY BY THEN.
BEFORE FINISHING THE LETTER I WOULD LIKE YOU TO ALLOW MY SERVANTS TO WASH BUDDHANA 'S FEET WITH THE HOLY WATER OF GANGESHWARI(Ganges) IN THE SAME LOTUS UTENSIL WHICH WAS GIVEN TO ANASUYA ON OUR MARRIAGE DAY BY BUDDHANA.
WITH LOVE,
YOUR ELDER BROTHER,
ASRASYA CHANDRAVIR."

"Thank you very much. Now..........

"Well now may I call upon our dasis to wash her majesty's feet?" The messenger asks, cutting off Brihad.

"Dvigesh, something does not seem right......."

"My queen, please put your feet in them." The messenger interrupts Buddhana while the dasi brings the utensil next to her feet.

Dvijesh yet remained quite.

Buddhana puts her feet into the utensil hesitatingly.

"Om namah shivay, om namah shivay........" (I offer to Shiva a respectful invocation of His name)

She repeats in her head until...........
