I don't give second chances

Skylar pov.........

I've always been a morning person. I guess that will never change. It was 6am. I decided to get up an get ready for the day. I put on a red tank top and some shorts. (Pic at the top) I keep my makeup simple.  Some blush and mascara. I look over at Elena and see she still sleeping. So i just walk down stairs. Not wanting to wake any one up. I grab a book to read and wait. I'm so hungry but I don't want to be rude so I'll just wait.

Time skip.......

"Hey" elena says
"Heyo" i say
"How long have you been up?"
"Since 6"
"That's early. Have you eaten yet?"
"No I didn't want to be rude. Plus i don't know were anything at."
"Ohh okay. Let's get some food."
"K." I say following her to the kitchen.
"So what your plans for the day?" She says making some coffee for me and her.
"Well ummmm i plan to go see damon."
"And what about Stefan." She says hanging me my cup.
" I don't know Elena. I don't see my brother anymore when i look at him." I says taking a sip of my coffee.
"Okay. But maybe if you talk to him. That will change. He your brother and you need him." She says grabbing so cereal.
"I don't need him. Not anymore."
"Really then why are you here? And don't say to see Damon. That not the only reason why your here." She says handing me a bowl.
"Fine yes i came to see Stefan too. Even though i hate him. I still love him. I still need him. He my brother. I will always love him." I say poring my self some cereal.
"See you still care. So why not give him a chance?" She says taking the cereal form me and handing me the milk
"Because I'm scared Elena. He hurt me once. And the person i ever loved just broke my heart. I don't think i can handle anymore pain. It's already so tempting to turn it off. I've never turned it off Elena." I cry purring the milk into my bowl.
"Never?"
"Never. Not even when i was turned. It never crossed my mind until now."
"Well you don't have to worry about Stefan hurting you. I promise you." Elena says hugging me.
"Okay thanks." I says as i pull away eating my food.
"Well you look like you needed it. She smiles purring milk into her bowl
"So what's your plan for the day"
"Well ummm idk really know yet."
"Okay well if you want to hangout just text me"
"Okay."
"If you don't mind me asking. What's with you and Stefan?"
"Ohh ummm it complicated."
"Okay. If you want to talk about it ever I'm here. Even though i just meet you. I already consider you as my sister."
"Really. Thanks. I consider you as my sister too." She smiles
"Cool. Well I'm gonna go. Thanks for the coffee and a place to stay." I say getting ready to leave
"You're welcome."
"Bye Elena." I say as i walk out the door.

Time skip........(Salvatore house)

"Day!" I yell.
"Sky." Damon says hugging me.
"Is stef here?"
"Yeah he's up stairs in his room"
"Okay ummmm I'm gonna go talk to him." I say
"Are you sure."
"No I'm not sure. But i came here for a reason. He my brother. Weather I like it or not." I say walking up the stairs to my brother room.
*knock knock*
"Come in!" Stefan yells
"Hey....." i say opening the door.
"Skylar......."
"Ummmm so me a Elena talk about you."
"Ohh why are you telling me."
"Well umm.......she made me realize something."
"Okay and that is......."
"That I didn't come here just to see Damon."
"What? so you wanted to see me?"
"Yeah. Your my brother weather I like it or not. I need you. Even after all these years stef. I still find myself wanting to run to you when I get hurt."
"And i will always be here for you sky. I promise."
"Don't make promises you can't keep."
"Skylar....."
"Stefan. I don't trust you anymore. But I'm willing give you a chance to earn it. Don't mess it up stef. I don't give second chances." I say walking out of the room.
