Six hours had passed, and they had finally made it to the temple. The students had gotten off the bus, realizing that the stairs could take up to an hour to climb. Before Lee let out a sigh she had grabbed her bags from the bus, walking towards the stairs.
"Obviously you guys didn't want to come, due to the reaction you just gave. If that's so, you can just get back on that bus and leave." Lee turned around before she continued up the stairs.
"But if you do, I'll be sure to have your teachers make this a grade." Lee added.
Nuelin had arleady climbed up the stairs beside Lee as she stated her opinion.
"I actually agree with her. I mean, you did agree to go on this trip. Then suddenly decide you shouldn't have come due to the stairs? That is uncalled for. Lee put so much work into this, the least you could do is make it worth while."
Lee turned her back and begun to walk up the stairs, Nuelin had followed. Moments later, the rest of the students began to walk up the stairs.
"It's about damn time they realized it was worth it." Lee whispered over to Nuelin, letting out a sigh.
Nuelin nodded her head as she let out a soft giggle. It only too Lee and Nuelin about forty minutes to make it up the to the top, took almost an hour and a half for the others to make it up to the top.
Lee and Nuelin had known the Temple Priest and had talked to him before the others had made there way up.
"Do you think you'll be able to seperate the males from the females? I'd appreciate it." Lee bowed.
"Of course, my dear. Anything for my favorite guest. You're father and mother were wonderful friends of mine, and I would do anything for their children. They have two beautiful children who have grown to be independent. I just wish your parents could see you at this moment, you've grown so much since the last time I saw you." The priest bowed as well, placing his hand over Lee's cheek as a tear ran down his cheek.
"Thank you so much. I'm sure my father and mother misses you as well. I hope everything will go well here. If you need anything, I'm here to help." Lee smiled before she walked off to the rest of the students.
"Alright, here's the deal. All boys will be staying in the temple cabins to the right, all girls will be sleeping in the temple cabins on the left. I suggest you head to them now and put your belongings away. Dinner will be in an hour, so please take your time and get settled in."
Lee and Nuelin headed to their cabin, and began to unpack.
"Lee, don't forget your grandfather had wanted to speak with you tonight." Nuelin looked over her shoulder to Lee, noticing she had sat on her bed.
"Lee?"
"Nuelin, I wonder if it's a trap.. I mean, my brother had told me stories about him. He said he was a cruel man, and wants everything going his way." Lee sighed, rubbing the back of her head.
"Well, you're strong. If he pulls any moves go at him." Nuelin sat beside Lee, slightly leaning back.
An hour later, dinner had came and all the students had gathered around the Temple Diner. After they had sat down, and bowed they had began to eat.
After dinner was over, everyone had headed back towards their cabin just to sleep. Lee, of course had headed through the woods, to where her grandfather had told her he'd be waiting. As she got there, she noticed he was no where in sight.
"Just as I thought. No show." Lee sighed, placing her hands in her jacket pocket.
Moments later, Lee heard a small laughter in the distance.
