Harry shivered pitifully in the doorway of a shop.
He had run away from home two weeks ago, and the Potters hadn't even done anything once they realised he was missing. Harry had known they didn't care for him, but, being the 10 year old he is, he still harbored some kind of hope that they'd come looking for him.
Now, Harry was alone in London, shivering in nothing more than a t-shirt and torn jeans. His shoes were ripped and had holes in the cheap pleather, and his small toes were turning blue.
That was another after-effect of the neglect. Harry was very small for a ten year old boy, albeit rather toned, and could easily be mistaken for a boy of around six years. This was an advantage, in a sense, as people were more likely to give him money as a child. It seemed that when they saw a child in need, maternal and paternal instincts came out.
As sad as it was, Harry had eaten more food in the past two weeks than he had in the past month in Lily and James's (he refused to call them mum and dad) house. He was still drastically underweight, but at least he didn't go to bed hungry. Meanwhile, Thomas was roughly the size of a killer whale when he left, showing the stark difference in treatment.
Harry turned his thoughts away from his horrible parents, and instead decided to look for somewhere to make home. He had been on the streets long enough, he decided, and was going to find a place to live. Scrambling to his feet, he ran to the seven boys, finally intent on telling them what he could do.
The seven boys had found him a week ago, and had instantly taken him under their wing. The eight of them referred to themselves as 방탄소년단, or Bulletproof Boys, because they had all run away from hardship. The seven boys he had met had been kidnapped by a black market slave rink in Korea (why is it always slavery in my writing???), the only language they spoke, and they had managed to escape the boat, escaping into Britain and wandering until they came to London.
Kim Seokjin was the only boy older than Harry, albeit by two months. Jin was 10 years old, and was very maternal towards the younger members. He looked after all of them to the best of his ability, and even stole cookbooks so that he would be able to provide for them when they had a place to live and become a real family.
Min Yoongi was 9 years old. He struggled to sleep at night, and could come along grumpy, but it was obvious that he really cared about the seven boys he was living with, despite his cold appearance. Like Jin, he desperately tried to improve their living situation, but just didn't know how.
Jung Hoseok and Kim Namjoon were both 8 years old. Namjoon was a certified child genius, and could figure out problems in seconds. Hoseok was a dance prodigy, and often danced on the streets to try and gain money. Namjoon himself would look through the money earned and ration it.
Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung were both six years old. They were very childish and innocent, and loved to play. Despite being undernourished, they were absolutely adorable and their cute charms just caused more people to give them money when they told them they didn't have a home.
Jungkook was the maknae of their little group. At only 4 years old, he was still very shy and confused about their situation. He was very sweet, and had severe attachment issues due to having never left his hyungs sides. Harry wanted him to grow up in a nice place, not the streets.
The eight of them had also adopted a St Bernard pup.

The pup, who was the runt of his litter, had been abandoned for not selling. Jimin, with his heart of gold, had taken him in, and named him Army, because it sounded powerful. He had been a tiny thing, but had grown considerably in the short time he had been with them, and Harry knew he needed a big place.
After telling the group (with a lot of demonstrations for the insatiable babies) they set out finding a place to live. When Yoongi came upon an abandoned warehouse, Harry knew instantly that this was the place.
