The Date

Owwwe. The sunlight shone straight in my eyes. Mum was in my room, she just finished opening my curtains.

' Good Morning darl '

I couldn't stop thinking about the date I was so nervous.

Mum?? I said.

' Yes Dear ' she said

Would you be able to drop me at the movies around 12? I'm going with a friend. The movie starts at 12:15pm, so it's god to get there early.

' Sure thing dear ' she said

My phone rang, I picked up. Hello who's this.

' Its Alex '

Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Hello!

' Did you want me to pick you up instead?

If you want?

I gave him my address and details.

' Okay so I'll see you at 12? '

Yes I said.

' Bye Rose '

Bye Alex.

He ended the phone call, it was 10am. I had plenty of time to get ready. I walked to my wardrobe, I wasn't sure what to wear. I grabbed just the casual jeans and jumper. I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on. I looked at myself into the mirror. I couldn't stop smiling. I can't believe this is actually happening, I forgot to tell Taleesha and Natalie what happened. I will after I guess. I took off my clothes and got into the shower. I started singing songs and dancing around like a complete idiot. I was so damn happy. 20 minutes later I had gotten dressed and I blow dried my hair. I put my perfume that I bought the other day on. It smelt so nice.

It was 11:40, a car pulled up. It was him. I was so damn nervous, I didn't know what to do.

Mum I yelled, I have got a ride.

' Is it your boyfriend?

No mum just a friend!

' Sure sure ' said Mum

I went outside carrying my bag with my phone and purse. He got out of the car, wow i said to myself. He looks amazing. I could smell myself and I smelt pretty good. I got out my phone to check the time.

' You look great! '

Thanks you do to I said.

I got into the car, a few minutes later we had arrived at the movies. There wasn't many places to park, we eventually found a spot. We got out of the car and walked into the building. He grabbed my hand and held it. It was amazing, I felt like I was dreaming. I didn't know if we were going out or not at that stage. I saw Natalie and Jake in the ticket line, I didn't know they were gonna be there. We lined up for our tickets, Nat spotted me. She waited until I got out until she spoke to me. We both got our tickets, I let go of his hand and went over to Nat. Alex had gone with Jake, they were talking.

' What are you doing here?! '

Alex asked me out on a date.

' OMG I'm so happy for you!'

What are you doing here?!

' Jake invited me to the movies! '

I'm so happy for you to! Even though your already going out and all.

Jake and Alex followed us up the stairs, and into the cinema. Nat and Jake sat next to eachother while me and Alex were on the other side. I sat down and looked at Alex and said Are we together? He looked me in the eyes and said Yes we are. The ads started playing which was boring, it was pretty awkward for a while. We were talking about random stuff, there was nothing else to do for that time.

10 mins later.....

The movie had started, he grabbed my hand and put his fingers inbetween mine, it was actually the cutest thing. I actually didn't watch the movie, I was too busy thinking about Alex.

40 mins later....

He turned to me and said, ' I actually have liked you for a while. ' I said

Me too. He looked me in the eyes and said ' I love you' I said I love you too.

He leaned in and kissed me softly. It was the best, I felt like I was dreaming. I've never kissed someone before. He leaned back, and started watching the movie. That's all I could think about for the rest of the movie. Nothing else.

30 mins later...

The credits appeared on the screen, the movie had finished. I let go of his hand as we exited the cinema. He drove me home, just before we left I said bye to Nat. I got into his car and he drove me to my house. I got out of the car and hugged him, my mum wasn't home cause she left for work but I had my keys.

I said bye. I started to walk away.

' wait. ' Alex said.

He ran over to me and lifted me up so my legs were around his waist. He looked me in the eyes and kissed me again softly. He put me down and said ' Bye ' I'll see you soon & I love you. I'll call you tonight.
