"I have nothing to wear. Nothing seems right. What do I do??" Savannah dramatically questions her best friend. They were supposed to be going out today and, just as Savannah thought the night was going perfect, she spilled her drink on her white skin-tight skirt; it wouldn't matter if the drink was purely water, but who would drink water before going out? Their pre-drinks included ciders, sourz shots and sweet, red wine. The wine that ended up on the girls skirt.

"I don't know what you're going to wear, but you better change fast. The taxi is on it's way and should be here within the next ten minutes." Savannah's best friend Marlene replied, looking at her friends desperate figure rummaging through the closet. The white walls usually made the room seem clean and magazine like. The clothes on the floor gave off the opposite vibe. Savannah's room looked like a tornado just passed by due to the amount of clothes piled on the floor, the bed, the top of the wardrobe, and every single place it could lay or hang on.

"We're gonna have to cancel. I have nothing." Savannah exclaimed, giving up and throwing herself on top of her bed, landing on random items of clothing in the process. Marlene took the matters into her own hands, got off the bed and treaded through the clothing infested floor to the wardrobe. There she continued to pick up Savannah's pre-planned outfits. Compared to Savannah and her indecisive nature, Marlene was just as good with fashion and could plan outfits within seconds while under time pressure. She therefore took out a silky pink two piece, one that quite reminded her of pyjamas rather than actual clothing (not that it mattered, club clothing is usually kept to the bare minimum by most girls anyway), and held it up in front of her friends bed frame, almost shoving it in her face.

"Wear this. We are not cancelling. We are going out and we are going to have fun." Marlene shoved the outfit at her friends lap and left the room to let the other girl change. Savannah stood up off her bed, rolling her eyes but nonetheless getting changed into the outfit Marlene handed to her.
She looked at herself in the mirror, wondering why she didn't think of this piece before, although she didn't quite remember when or where she got the outfit from either.

A knock was heard and Savannah opened the door to let her Bestfriend back into the room. She mentioned up and down with her hands to her outfit, silently begging for her best friends opinion and approval.

"Looks great. Now come downstairs. We need to look out for the taxi." Marlene stated, pulling Savannah downstairs by her wrist.

"Mind taking a picture of me?" Savannah asked, standing in her living room. When Marlene reached her arm out, Savannah took that as a yes, handing her phone to the girl and posing. After getting her phone back, she decided on posting one of the photos on her Instagram.

Then Marlene heard a ping from her phone, a message lighting up her phone stating that the taxi is now in front of the house. The two girls grabbed their belongings, consisting only of their phones and credit cards for money; those they stashed in the inside pockets of their tops that they have DIY'd into every item of their clothing for the sole purpose of not bringing purses. It came in handy on nights like this.

The girls walked out to be met by a black car, waiting to take them to their destination for the night. They got into the car, Marlene first, and Savannah after her, both sitting in the back. The girls conversed through the whole ride, planning where they will go tonight, and where they would go on their next night out. Since they were single and done with school, their only worries consisted of their daily jobs. Those worries disappeared during their nights out; those times were for their worries of who will they dance with, do they look good, will they like the new drinks they're planning to try out...

"We're here." The taxi driver exclaimed with a bored impression on his face, forcing the girls to have to look at the cost meter themselves. With a roll of her eyes, Savannah pulled out her phone, paying the driver through the app. This was, afterall, more time efficient than trying to get the right change. The payment showed up on the drivers phone, allowing the girls to get out of the car and into the British breeze.

"Can't wait for a nice drink to warm me up." Marlene said, grabbing her best friends hand and walking towards the nearest club.

"Unless a nice man does it first." Savannah replied with a smug smirk on her face, causing her to earn a playful slap on the arm from Marlene. With a roll of her eyes and a laugh of her lips, Savannah followed her friend into the (quite non-existent) line to the club. Since there was no one in front on them, the girls got in easily; their IDs checked and entries payed.

The inside of the club seemed pretty empty, which made sense since the girls arrived before 11pm. This also meant that currently the drinks were cheaper, with a variety of 2 for 1, 2 for £9 and even a group offer of 6 shots of your choice for £10 compared to the usual price of £3 per shot (also dependent on your choice of drink).

"I'll go get us some starter drinks!" Savannah shouted at her friend over the loud music booming from somewhere near by the table they claimed as theirs. "Get me something to drink too!" Marlene shouted a bit louder, not exactly hearing what Savannah said to begin with. Savannah heard her loud and clear, giving the other girl a thumbs up paired up with a grin before walking away to the bar. There she started reading the cocktail menu. She felt like a cocktail as her first drink, and since some of them were on a 2 for 1 offer, she decided it would be a great starter so she waited in line. There seemed to only be a couple in their early 30s and three men in their late 20s in front of her. The three men moved on to the female bartender on the left and the couple in front of Savannah was collecting their drinks.
Waiting for her turn, Savannah heard an empty cup fall to the floor. Being the polite person she would like to think she is, Savannah bent down -one hand on her skirt so she doesn't flash anyone-  and picked up the black cup with her other hand. She got back up, keeping her balance on the front of her black heels, and handed the bartender in front of her the fallen cup.

"Thank you." The deep voice behind the counter said, causing Savannah to look up from the cup to the face of the now cup holder. "You're welcome." She replied with a smile, still looking at the male. He was Caucasian, but fairly tanned, with curly caramel blonde hair. His blue eyes stood out to her the most, followed by his pearly white teeth.

"Hello?" The bartender said, snapping Savannah out of her trance-like state. "Sorry, did you say something?" She asked, trying to keep casual eye contact. "I asked if you've ordered already." He repeated with an amused smile. Savannah looked down at the counter, suddenly feeling embarrassed, but brought her head up while shaking it anyway. "What can I get you then?" She was asked as the man put down the glass he was cleaning. "I'll have two Sex on The Beach cocktails, with a side of your number." She replied more confident now. The man behind the bar looked away and licked his bottom lip, making Savannah smirk as he began to make the two drinks. When the drinks were prepared, he put them in front of Savannah along with a turned over napkin. She sent him a smile and walked back to her table.

"What took you so long? I'm sober!" Marlene exclaimed loudly, reaching for her drink. Savannah took the napkin she was handed and turned it over, showing the scribbled on bit to the other girl. "Omg who?!" Marlene asked excitedly, confused when Savannah turned her head towards the bar. "You got the bartenders number?!" The girl half scream was only slightly louder than her conversational tone over the music.

Savannah saved the number in her phone with the name that was written on the napkin; Nick. She decided that since the man was working she would not text him now. She also decided to grab more drinks later to talk to him more. But she wouldn't text him. Not today.
