STORY IS SET BEFORE LARS' 'ABDUCTION'

"Don't worry Y/N I'll be fine, it's just a train ride." Your mother said, going down the steps of the train station. "And maybe a bus"

"Be safe! Call me when you get there." I called from the top of the stairs. My mother got onto the train, and waved to me as it sped away. I went to the nearest cafe and chilled. I'll miss her.

I got my phone out while drinking my pinkity drinkity and started to call my friend, Sara, and told her about my mum moving to Beach City. She was amazed and told me to tell her what my mum thinks.

Sara was thinking of moving there herself, because the city is too loud for her. She thought Beach City was peaceful and calm and so she wanted to go there and stay. If she does ever move there, I'm going too. I'd miss her too much.

After I hung up, I went back home and sat down on the couch. The house sure is lonely without my mum here, it's so quiet. I turned on the TV and started to watch random dramas that were on. My mum never liked them, so it's finally time to catch up on the ones that I've missed.

As soon as I pressed play, my phone rang. It's my mum.

I quickly answered and greeted her happily.
"Are you there yet?? Are you? Are you??"
"Calm down Y/N I'm just at the bus stop now, I need to wait another half an hour since I missed the other one, busses only come every 40 minutes."

"I hope you have fun there, and remember, if there's any cute guys hit me up mama." I said jokingly, she didn't take it as a joke though.

"Sure thing hun, hey this guy close to me is cute, he has gray hair and a wrinkly old face, you'd love him!"

"Mum he sounds like 80, why tell me he's there."

I heard a faint mumble and then my mum came back to the phone, she left it?

"There was another guy, don't worry. His names kevin. He seems so lovely!"
I could practically hear her excitement.

"Wow okay mum, chill." I said holding the phone away from my ear until she went quiet, "you know I was joking right?"

I chuckled at her small 'oh' response.
"I just got that guys number for nothing, oh well."

"Wait you got his number?? You should get that old guys number already, you'd be a great match for him."

I heard her chuckle a little, she muted her microphone for a second, and then unmuted it.
"Sorry dear I was getting my bus ticket, I should probably go now, Kevin's next to me, I'm gonna share childhood stories of you~"

Before I could say anything she hung up. Goddamnit, a random stranger knowing my embarrassing stuff , sounds great to me.

I get a text.
