Loved And Broken

Prologue

There he was, knocking on my door waiting for me to open it.
"Jane open the door now! I'm sorry!!!". He said that over and over again till I responded.
"You aren't sorry Dylan! You shouldn't have done that in the first place." I responded.
"I'm sorry I cheated on you Jane. She just took me by surprise...you know I wouldn't do that to you. Please just let me in!!"
I was crying in pain. I was broken. All I could hear was the rain hitting the window while the moon was shining on the trees. I blocked his voice and didn't bother to see him or even answer him.
It took a while for him to realize that I was never going to answer. So he left. When he left, he left a note with my favorite candy that I've loved since we started dating. I took notice on the note after I realized I needed to read it before eating the candy.
"I'm sorry Jane. I didn't mean to hurt you. What I did was horrible. I know that. I know you might not even forgive me. It's not something someone can actually forgive so that's fine. I still want you to be apart of my life even if we aren't together. So please just talk to me."
Tear drops started to fall on the white paper. The ink started flowing off the paper with the water. I sat down wishing this never happened. We were great before it. I was furious and didn't want to know anything about him. I blocked him out of my life but I still wanted him to come back.

Little did I know that, that could've been the last time I would see him.
