Chapter One
~Cry's POV~
Half way through another horribly boring day of school. Thank God it's Friday. I'm sitting in math class doodling, I usually don't pay attention in my classes but I get near perfect grades. I hear the class room door open. In walks a tall, muscular guy with golden blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. I have to admit, he's pretty attractive.
"Oh! You must be our new student." The teacher said. He then turned to face the class. "Everyone, please give our new student, Felix, a warm welcome!"
Everyone in the class mumbled out their 'Hello's' and Felix took a seat, which happened to be right beside me. I noticed a lot of girls in the class staring at him which pissed me off. I don't know why, he probably won't like me anyway, most people see my mask and think I'm a freak. Very few people have taken the time and got to know me.
I've worn my mask ever since I was a little kid. I was bullied a lot and I was too shy and insecure to stand up for myself. Constantly being called ugly and getting beat up made me hate myself even more than I already did. I was afraid to show my face at school and that is when I decided to make the mask, to make me feel safe. I've been wearing it for so may years, I feel naked with out it.
Felix looks over at me and gives a friendly smile which I would've returned if he could see my face but instead, I nod my head in acknowledgement.
~Bell Rings~
I already have everything packed up in my bag and was about to walk out of the class when I hear the sound of books and papers falling on the floor
"Shit!" I hear him say under his breath, his cheeks were going pink from embarrassment.
I bend down and I start to pick up his books with him.
"Rough first day?" I ask him, standing up and handing him his stuff.
"Yeah, I don't know anyone here and this school is HUGE. I can't even find my locker." He replied. I could see his eyes quickly look me over, making me feel slightly self-conscious.
"Well now you know me! I'm Ryan." I say smiling, knowing he can't see it. "And I can show you to your locker if you want."
"Really? Thank you!" He says enthusiastically with a grin on his face. He hands me his schedule so I can see his locker number.
We then start walking down the halls talking about our plans for the weekend. We were almost at his locker when we walk by Scott (Jund) my ex boyfriend.
"Hey Ryan, who's this? Your new boy-toy?" He says in a teasing voice.
"Hi Scott." I say, clearly annoyed. "This is Felix, he's new at the school and no, we're not dating."
Scott then turns to look at Fexil, checking him out. I clear my throat as if telling him to knock it off. He understood and said "You're hot, new kid. I'm free if you every want to have a little fun." He winks and continues walking down the hall. Felix looked creeped out.
"So he's your ex?" He asks.
"Yeah." I say
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you two breakup?"
"One night I went over to his house to surprise him with a movie date but when I went in, I saw him making out with another guy." I reply, feeling upset by the memory.
I was pissed off that Scott was flirting with Felix. I knew I developed a crush for Felix and thats why I don't want him to get hurt like I was. I wonder if Felix likes him.. Does Felix even like guys?
"Umm.. Ryan?" He pulled me out of my thoughts
"Hm? Oh, sorry! Did you say something?" I chuckled nervously.
"What were you thinking about?"
"I was just wondering, do you.. Like Scott?" I asked
"He's cute but not really my type. I'm more into romantic guys, not jerks like him." He said looking at his feet with a cute smile.
Well, that answered my questions. I might have a chance with him. I've never fallen for anyone as quick as I did for Felix but I feel so comfortable with him, he's nice, easy to talk to and I can't keep my eyes off him.
We are walking home together in a calming silence until I ask him if he wants to hang out this weekend.
"Sure! Here, put your number in." he says, handing me his phone. I take it and give him mine. Once he put his information in, he held my phone out for me to take but before I could reach it he pulls it back towards him, I give him a confused look which he notices.
"Dude, what are you doing?" Still holding my hand out.
"I need to take a contact photo, DUH!" He explains with a contagious laugh. He held out my phone and made a goofy face while taking the picture. He then grabs my hand and pulls me beside him, taking more pictures. I can't help but laugh along with him. I take back my phone and look at the pictures.
"Aw! You look adorable." I tell him, making him blush.
We are now outside of his house.
"Thanks for making my day less crappy. See ya later Bro!" He waves and walks inside.
"It was my pleasure." I wave back. I start walking down the block to my place, smiling like an idiot.
[AN] Hello! It's summer and i'm bored so it's fanfic time baby! I know this first chapter sucks but I have some pretty good ideas for future chapters. Also sorry for making Scott a dick. It just works for the story ^.^ I'm going to call Pewds and Cry by their real names because it sounds better to me. I'm going to update every week, maybe even twice a week if you were wondering. Okay, I need sleep! Bye ♥ ~(^-^)~
