The drops of rain,
I feel it again..
Its been off late,
after quite a long wait..
Fluttering breeze seems spellbound,
as I tap my feet to the ground..
I keep dancing drenched throughout,
splashing water in and out..
little birdie hiding in,
she is frightened of the rain god’s grin..
pleasant petrichore as is spread,
the dry earth turns a flowerbed..
I see the waters gushing out to the lanes,
the paper boats lined up floating in chains…
there the childhood is revived in a blink of the eyes,
that were lost in the pages called compromise…
