°Chapter two: In the dark we go...°

The awful smell filled our lungs, followed by all of us coughing and choking fron the smell. "Fuck! What was that?!" Asked Luna, covering her mouth and nose with the sleeve of her shirt as she his behind Anna. You might think I'm lying but the smell that came out of the door was the smell of rotting corpse and old people. I started crying from the smell as I made my way in. The floor was filled with broken glass, old newspaper, random food packaging, cans and bottles of beer. I carefully stepped over the broken glass followed by Luna and Blanka, with Anna and Ekoni at the back. I looked down the old hallway, pulling a flashlight out of my pocket in my skirt. I turned the flashlight on, pointing in at the end of the old hallway full of old rooms that used to be full of patients. I was creeped out at this point, but I'm all ready in and nothing happened so far and I might keep on going. We walked deeper into the hallway, the smell being worse and worse with every step we took. We have been walking for 40 minutes or so until we reached the end of the hallway, treated by a heavy meral door with a sign that said "Stares" on it. Anna, the strongest of all of us, started to push the door open, but it didn't move an inch. She kept pushing and pushing but nothing. "Can I try?" I asked rising my hand in the air like a little kid. "Ha ha! You can try!" Said Anna moving away from the door, making way for me. I made my way to the door, grabbing the handle and pulling it open, even thought I am the weakest one in the group and the door was ten times heavier than me. Anna stood there in shock, looking at me, the weakest person in the world, open the heavy metal door. I was the first one going through the metal door, seeing two stairways, one heading down in the pitch black and one heading up into, somehow, brighter floor. "Let's go down!" Said Anna, stepping on the first step heading downstairs. I shook my head and headed upstairs carefully listening to 100 year old metal steps creaking under us. I was sure that the steps will collapse any second now. I flashed my flash light on the wall reliving another door. I quickly ran up the stairs running to the door followed by my friends at the back. I pushed the door open. "Safety at last! Well kind of safety." I yelled running through the door immediately leaning against the wall. Seconds later, Anna, Shadow, Luna and Blanka walked through the door. Blanka stopped and looked over at the hallway on the left. She started growling, the hair at the back of her next started rising. A minute passed, something like a metal spoon fell down and made a rattling sound on the other end of the left hallway she was staring at. I immediately searched for another stairway door. As soon as I found the door, I yelled it open running upstairs followed by Blanka, not looking back at all. I saw the door of the second floor. I grabbed the handle, opened it, letting Blanka in first then myself. I sat down on the floor, hugging Blanka as I buried my face in her soft white fur, her being the teddy bear she is, it made me calm down just a tiny bit. 5 minutes passed and I heard my name being called from the stairs way. "I'm on the second floor!"I yelled in response not letting go of Blanka. Three pairs of footsteps could be heard running up the stairs and to the door opening it. "What happened?! Why did you left?!" Asked Anna lifting me up.
