Chapter 2

(Several years later..)

Sakura's PoV:

Today's the day.. the day I will be entering at the most prestigious magic school in the whole country of Arus, Twilight Academy,

A soft knock could be heard from my door, as I start to prepare for my trip to the academy.

"Come in" I called out while checking the uniform of the School if it suits me, It's a white cotton blouse with a purple lining at each end of the sleeves and has a gold pin attached to it found in the left chest that bares the school's logo of a crescent moon and sun combined with a purple necktie that has the initials of the Academy and paired with a purple checkered skirt that reaches till your knees and a pair of long white knee socks, It's quite adorable.

Being too focus on my adorable uniform I didn't notice someone was at the door, as it opens entered my mother, Kagura Amateru the Lumen Queen, "Are we ready for our first day at Twilight Academy?" Mother asked in an excited tone.

"Mother, I still couldn't believe it! I'm going to twilight academy!' I said in trill excitement as I jump down to my bed.

I hear mother chuckling as she sit down beside me at the end of the bed."Why wouldn't they? Your strong, beautiful, and brave.." She said as she softly caressed my cheeks.

"But Mom what if I couldn't live up to their standards? I mean this is twilight academy we're talking about, a school full of S-class mages! I don't want to ruin our family's reputation." I admit in worry, Jeez!! talk about pressure, "Fret not my dear daughter, you will reached up to them in fact I'm sure you will reach past them" Mother assured me as she smiled proudly at me. Man how I'm lucky to have a mother like her.

"Well enough of that you need to get ready before the car from the academy gets here to pick you up, now scurry along young lady." Mom said as she stood up and ushers me to get dressed.

With that I stood and went to the bathroom to get ready for my trip, Oh it seems I haven't introduced myself yet so here goes, I am Sakura Jun Amateru, 16 years old, daughter of King Michael and Queen Kagura Amateru, Princess of the Lumen Kingdom. I have blue eyes and plump pink lips and has a long honey-blonde hair that stretches down till my back, I have slim figure or you could say an hour-glass shaped body, I have a snow white skin.

After I got dressed I went down stairs, as reach the front door I was greeted by some of the maids bidding their farewells and goodbyes, which made me shed a few sad tears, they were like family to me since they took care of me since I was very young, I basically treat them like family.

So as I head to the front there I saw my parents, I bid my last farewell to my parents, my mom was smiling with pride and my father still stern as ever "Now, once you're at school do not, and I mean do not even make a single mistake that will put our family name on the line you hear me?! Sakura" he said with a strict tone which didn't surprise me at all. He was always like this.. He always cared only for the family name and our reputation. "yes.. father" "good now off you go.." he said as he left the room heading to his office of course.

All i could do is heave out a sigh "Now, now no need to be sad your father means well, I'm sure he is proud of you as I am, you know he has a lot of things on his mind." Mother said as she stroked my hair comforting me.

"I know, it's just that I will miss you guys." I said as I face her with tears threatening to fall.

"As will we my dear, so you do your best and make us proud okay" she said as she gave me an encouraging hug. "I will" I said as I hug back.

"Be safe" she said as we heard a car honking in front.

"It seems your ride is here." So we headed out front to be greeted by a long white limousine that bears the school logo on the side. "Sakura Jun Amateru?" a man that came out the limousine called out, "yes? That's me" i answered "I am Argos, I will be you chauffeur for today now may I please see your admission slip and the passkey?" passkey? I haven't found a passkey in the box "Here's the admission slip sir but I haven't receive any passkey from the package" i said in bewilderment

"Miss, with all due respect but I believe that you are already wearing the passkey on your uniform" he said as he gestured the pin on my blouse.

"Oh my bad" I said in embarrassment as I handed the pin, after he took it the slip burned in his hand. Wait?! What?! Why would he burn my admission slip!?

Argos chuckled as he notice my astonishment "No need to fret Ms. Amateru you will be able to attend the school just show the principal your pin and they will let you in" he calmly said which made me sigh in relief.

I was worried for nothing, "Anyway let's go we must now be on our way so we could reach the school by sundown." Argos said as he walked over the passenger side and opened the door. So this is it..

This is where I say goodbye.. great now I'm about to cry..

"Take care Sakura.. and remember you will always and always be my little girl." My mom said as she embraced me. I couldn't hold it anymore I hugged her back and I just let the dam burst.

"I'll miss you mom" I said as I cried staining her dress with my tears.

"As will I my dear, Now of you go take care okay?" I nod as she broke off our hug and wiped off the tears on my face, "I will make you proud Mom" I said now determined to make my mother proud! " I know you will, now go." She said as ushered me into the car where I took a seat near the window when I closed the door, it took off already.

Leaving a view of my Mom waving goodbye with tears in her eyes. Goodbye Mom I'll be back

How wrong was I to think that all will be well..
