Mark's POV~

As the sun sets I notice that Sean's arm is healed. I go to the guest room and knock.
Felix opens it groggily.

"Does Sean have a history of healing quickly?" I ask and he rubs his eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"Sean is healed and I haven't even finished the spell yet."
"What?!"

We run back to my bed room and Sean I there, curled up like he was never injured.

"What's going on?"
"Do you know how he got that scar on his neck?" I ask.
"What? Oh. I'm pretty sure he was born with it."
"Born with it?.... I knew it!" Felix jumps at my cheer.
"Knew what?"
"I was given two humans before being thrown into this world. One a female, one a male. God told me to mate with one but I compromised with kissing one and marking it as my future mate and killing the other one. I killed the female. Her name was Amy Nelson. The male I kissed. His name was Sean McLoughlin."
"That's creepy. How do you know his last name?"
"Did you not just hear a word I said?"
"I'm afraid of it."
"Felix, I wasn't given a choice. So, I did what I could so I wouldn't have to have sex with your friend."
"So, Sean's supposed to be your mate?"
"Eventually. Weather God pushes us together or I earn it. I'd much rather earn it."
"For a really old guy you can't seem to stop amazing me."
"I can always kill you."

He shys away with a innocent smile and sweat beads dripping down his face.

"Anyway, I'm thinking that when I marked him I may have given him a few powers of a vampire."
"Like what?"
"Fast healing, immortality, ability to have kids with any gender. Small things like that."
"And if he does?"
"He doesn't need a spell to help him. Most likely that odd thing called Coffee."
"Have you never had coffee."

I shake my head and he gasps.

"I need to educate you." He says before running off.

Great. Yeah just leave the least educated vampire with an unconscious guy. That's safe.
I roll my eyes and sit in my chair by the window and start to read.
Hours pass before I hear the ruffling of sheets.
I turn and see Sean sitting up in the bed with his hair everywhere. When he spots me he pins himself against the headboard in fear.
I get up from my chair and put my hands up.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you."
"Wh-Where am I?" He stammers, Irish accent peaking.
"You're in my castle. You fell off a cliff and your friend Felix had me help you." I say, giving a small smile.
"Y-You're a vampire." He says.
"Yes. My name is Mark."
"Mark. Okay. Where's Felix?"
"I think he went to get coffee. He said he needed to educate me. That was a few hours ago. He should be back soon if he didn't trip down the mountain I'm apparently on."
"You don't get out much, do you?"
"Not really." I admit.
"Uhm... Who's room am I in?"
"Mine but it doesn't matter. As long as you're healing it's fine."
"Did I break something?"
"Your arm. But other than that you were relatively fine."
"Oh. Right. I uh, tend to heal over night... or day."
"Oddly enough you slept well through the day time. Even when I was cussing myself out every now and again."
"That was you?" He giggles.

I nod with a smile. He laughs some and I feel like my heart has wings.

"You seem so familiar. Do I know you from somewhere?" He asks, still giggling.
"He's the All Father!" Felix says, holding four mugs with steam coming out of them.
"Ah. I see. From all the legends I read." Jack nods.

Felix hands me a mug and hands two to Sean.
I take a sip and just look at it.

"Is it supposed to taste like nothing?" I ask.
"No. Have you ever eaten anything other than blood?" Sean says before starting to chug the first mug.
"Uhm. Once I tried a.... i don't remember. Uhm..... it was an old Irish dish from when this guy came to learn about vampires. His name was Dracula I think."
"Dracula?!?!" Sean asks, surprised as he finishes his second mug.
"Yeah. He was the Lord of a town in Ireland but he came here to find me and become the first vampire to be made by the "All Father" as he called me."
"Dracula was the one who wrote all those stories? All those legends?"
"Except for his own. I whipped that up for the history books couple hundred years ago."
"Is he still alive?" Felix asks.
"Somewhere most likely. I wouldn't know."

Felix nods and notices Jack making grabby hands at his mug. He sighs and hands it over.

"But anyway, I don't taste anything you can. Except the iron in the blood I drink from the Elk and Moose around here." I say.
"Ah. Gimme." Sean says, pointing to the mug in my hand.

I chuckle and hand it over.
