Angela's kind, The Neko, where spectacular at hiding. The holy knights have been wanting to kill them all for decades now. Nobody ever told Angela why they hide so one day, she didn't hide. The holy knights found her. Her whole clan stepped out of hiding to protect her, seeing as how she was the youngest one.
The Holy Knights killed all males and females above the age of 17 and sold the rest of the females.
Angela was the only one who escaped.
When the neko turn 14, they kind of become immortal I guess. I mean all minor injuries heal within 3 minutes but they can die. And by minor, I mean like a graze, scratch or tiny cut. However, Sprained or Broken bones take 3 days to heal instead of 3 minutes. They also don't change appearance and they can only die by being murdered. Angela was 14.
Anyways, she ran and ran. The people who she had been sold to were right behind her. She ran for 3 hours, somehow not losing them along the way.
She fell over a rock. When she turned around, she saw a sword about to be slashed down onto her.
She closed her eyes, awaiting death.
A few seconds later, she heard many screams. She opened her eyes to see a Blonde-Haired Kid, Around her age, Beating the life out of the other men.
Literally.
When he was finished he said, "There, that should do it." He then turned to face Angela and said: "They didn't scare you, did They?"
