Alexandra's Perspective
Today was the day that I returned to Riverdale after finishing college. Oh college, a dangerous place. But anyways, my younger brother and father the only ones I had waiting for me in Riverdale. I had gone to Chicago with my mom when my parents split. I told my mom once I graduated college I would move back to Riverdale. She was hesitant but let me.
I tied my hair up behind my bandana and rolled the sleeves of my jean jacket up.
The drive from Chicago to Riverdale was 12 hours. Twelve hours of me being a rowdy millennial enjoying a road trip by herself. Twelve hours blasting music and eating.
When I turned 20 my mom bought me a 1970 Firebird Pontiac. God was I in love with my car. I somehow managed to stay single the whole 10 years I was in Chicago. I had hooked up with the occasional bad boy every now and then, nothing was ever official. Oh well, boys were time consuming and complicated. Anyways, my brother Archie is now 15. Our parents split when he was 5 and I was 14, I haven't seen him or my dad since the divorce. Seeing them again was going to be different, seeing as Archie is 15 now and my dad hasn't seem me since before I changed my style and everything I live by.

I unclenched the steering wheel as I looked up at my childhood home. I got out slowly, breathing out. I walked up the stairs while mentally preparing myself for the discussion. I smiled, as I walked onto the porch. I knocked on the door. The door flung open and I was engulfed in a bone crushing hug. I giggled as I was picked up off the ground and spun around.
"Arch, don't break your sister. We just got her back." My dad chuckled. I hugged Archie back and then gave my dad a tight hug. I smiled and then looked at Archie.
"Who are you and what'd you do with my dweeb little brother?"
"Same brother, just a little less dweeb." He chuckled, messing up my hair.
"Do you have a place to stay Alex?" Archie asked, opening the door for me.
"Yeah, I paid for an apartment a month ago and had moving people move my stuff in already. I just like clothes and stuff in my car." I nodded. His eyes grew wide.
