Chapter Three: The Beach

~ Jimin's POV ~

Jimin had been invited to go to the beach with Jin and his friends. Jin and Jimin sat in the back seat of the car, and slowly Jin wrapped his arm around Jimin's neck.

Jimin felt the older's arm around him, and he blushed. Trying not to look. But Jin just looked so casual about it. As if it was something normal.

Was it?

Namjoon was blasting music in the front seat with Hobi, and Jungkook and Taehyung were playing on their phones in the other backseat. Yoongi had decided to stay home from this one, and they later found out he was sick.

Finally, the car came to a stop and they all got out. Jin walked next to Jimin, as if being protective over the other. Jimin took notice of this, and decided to stick close to the eldest.

Jungkook and Taehyung rolled their pant legs up and ran into the water at the beach, and Namjoon was working on setting up a small campsite, while Hobi was climbing rocks.

Jin went down to help Namjoon with the camp, and they set up a tent quickly, and a some blankets on the sand. Namjoon laid down on the blanket and rested in the hot sun.

Jimin stared at the ocean, he loved it personally. He never went there often but when he did, he usually had a great time. He sat on the cool sand and watched as the waves crashed against the shore.

Jin then came over to sit next to him. "Hey Jimin~" He said.

Jimin smiled and looked at Jin. "Hi Jin, how are you?"

Jin shrugged. "I am doing okay. You?"

"I'm good, always good when we are together~" Jimin said this almost subconsciously, and took no note of what he actually said.

"We?" Jin asked.

"I meant, um... all of us. You know?" Jimin tried to play it cool.

Jin nodded. "Oh- Yes. Of course." He smiled and ruffled the younger's hair.

"Oh- my hair.." Jimin touched his head.

"I-I'm sorry. I was just playing with you, mochi~" Jin said, looking away.

"M-mochi?" Jimin didn't even know Jin knew that nickname. Only his crushes would call him a cute little mochi.

"Yes, mochi. Is that not okay?"

"N-no! It's completely okay!" Jimin smiled widely. "I love it!"
