As soon as the door opens I literally jump away from Jada and she pulls the covers over her bottom half.
Her brother stands at the door looking suspicious.
"Was y'all just-"
"No ." We both cut him off.
"Right...well anyways I thought you were gonna come get him so we could talk..."
"Oh yeah, sorry I got...distracted..." She clears her throat .
"Right...look, I just wanted to say you better not hurt my sister or I will make sure you never see another day ."
"I won't, I promise ." I say.
"Alright then, that's all...and...if y'all are planning on fucking I'd suggest you do it when nobody else is home..."
We look at each other awkwardly and she blushes.
"Later." Jaden walks out .
I look over at her and she's staring down at her hands.
"You ok?" I ask her.
"Yeah, I'm good."
"Ok...well I should probably go now." I suggest.
"Oh...ok." She says.
"I'll see you at school tomorrow though, right?"
"Uh...I don't know...I don't really wanna be around a lot of people right now...I don't think I'm ready."
"What if I stay with you all day? I'll even come into your classes if you want me to. You have either me or Ava in all of your classes so you'll never be alone."
"I don't know..."
"Come on Jay...I miss you."
"Alright...I'll think about it." I give in.

"You ready?" He asks as I pick up my book bag.
I take a deep breath. "I guess."
"Don't worry about it. You'll be fine." He assures.
"I hope so." I say as we step out the house and start walking to school.
