epilogue.
One week later and everything was set. Set for saying goodbye.
There was nothing anyone could do. When the paramedics had arrived the flat she was already dead. She was dead the moment she hit the floor. There was nothing anyone could do.
Her system had shut down because of the lack of food and water the last days of her life. Ashton sat with guilt even though he didn´t do anything. Maybe that was the problem.
He didn´t want to push her to speak or do something she didn´t want to do so he had just let her sit there. When he though about it now he should have pushed her. But it was too late. He was always too late.
Beige roses were lying on the top of her coffin and inside was her body laying. Ashton didn´t want to believe that her soul was in there, just her body.
Because that was the only way Ashton could keep living. To believe that she was somewhere else, somewhere good.
