Chapter 1 First day of highschool

"Flora! Jack's here!" My sister Felicity called "Coming!" I said
I ran down the stairs hoping he was already inside. Felicity was staring at me and said "drop dead gorgeous..but why for school?" She joked. I was wearing a flowy flowery shirt and had pale blue skinny jeans on, hair in a braid.
"Where's Jack?" I ask
"He's eating some waffles." Felicity rolls her eyes
"Jack cmon, we're going to be late."
I call grabbing my backpack
"Coming!" He pants
He stops in the doorway
"Woah Flora, you really like flowers huh?"
He smiles "it's in my name." I laugh
"Go to school weirdos." Felicity says
"Fine." I huff as I walk gracefully out the door. Jack following "Jesus Flor, why are you walking so fast? It's only school." He smirks. "You know I love school." I side glance at him. "Well..maybe not as much as you'll love this." He pulls out a box from his backpack
"Ooh! Give it!" I squeal
"No! Not yet!"
"Jack! Don't show it to me and then say I can't have it!" I scream
I walk even faster now
"Flor! Wait!"
"What loser?"
"I'm not finished with it, I was just showing you."
He stops me from walking
"Jack. You know I'll love it no matter what." "I know Flor, but still, don't get mad at me."
"I'm not..anymore."
I start walking again
"What are you? The flash?" He runs to catch up
I burst out laughing to where I can't breathe. "What? I'm not that funny." He laughs at me.
I look down at my phone
"Oh shoot! We have to run!" I start running "No! You're even faster running! Slow down!" He laughs running.
By the time we get there, it's two minutes until the bell.
"Okay now, do we have any classes together?"
"Uhh...first, third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth" he says
"Yes!" I high five him
He smiles deeply at me, and at first I feel a chill down my back but then after a few minutes it goes away.
