He somehow got her to ditch the party, and honestly? She didn't mind. They walked down the empty street, her steps haphazard and wobbly, like she was floating, his more solid and steady. Music thumped out of her speaker and she was bathed in silver and orange light almost like the moon and street lights were pointed towards her.

"What were you doing there anyways? Don't really seem like your 'scene'", Hasana twirled around a lamp post, the light casting odd shadows on her face. She noticed Christian watching her every move, she wasn't an idiot. She knew just how to step, just what to say and how to say it and the longer they were out there, the softer his brown eyes got.

Christian scratched the back of his head and shrugged, "Me and my friend were just kinda party hopping I guess," he scrunches his face in confusion and she can't help but laugh at his expression. "What do you mean not 'my scene'"?

She rolls her eyes and grabs his hand, "Ugh don't be a baby I just mean...look at you and look at me, we aren't exactly...how do you say...similar in any fucking way. Plus that was a punk show so im very confused as to how you managed to 'hop' into that one."

They turn down a long street, the sidewalk covered in debris from construction.

Christian sighs and shakes his head, "Yeah well, my friend Mitchel doesn't make a habit of discriminating against parties. He's a kind of a nutcase."

Hasana leads them down an odd stretch of house, one single yellow one is pushed all the way to the back. She laughs and stands under the porch light, "As fun as this was...," she jerks her head back towards the house and drops her voice down to a whisper, "I gotta get back in before my cousin wakes up. And if she catches me out here she's gonna whoop my ass."

"Well...can I see you again?"

She leans in closer, pressing her warm, plump lips to his in a soft kiss. "You can see me whenever you want." And with that she leaves him on the porch, in the dark cool night.
