Darkness

35 3 1

Of all the darkness over the lands

Of all the witches with uplifted hands

Through thieves and bandits, villains, scoundrels and pirates

Bring forth bewilderment in which thou meditate

Behold defeating sermon

Preludes a bewitched command

Phases of what we are

Devil’s blood dabbed over thee

Evil till the heart until it dies

Give-in to thy eyes

Terror of every sort

Heaven, hell and earth at court

Shine a light over my soul

For near me

Lies no goal

Prepare thy testing bed

Thou taketh not till dead

Hear though the serpent’s cries

Dark clouds close in thy sky

Portraits the walking figure

Pointed fingers in devastated linger

Oh, break to thy knees

Or, dear beggeth please

To me lift your eyes

“Heavenly Father!” the earthlings cry

Dare you to lay “Why?”

Confessions of the cry

Open to thin air

My friend beware
