Percabeth at Hogwarts

Ch. 2

Percy POV

Finally, we got out of that damned train! Suddenly, I heard a gruff voice yelling ,"Firs' years, over here." I decided to follow the voice, and I was a laistrigonian(spelling?) giant. However, he seemed much too kind to be one.

Three kids walked up to him, and he laughed heartily. "Harry, Hermione, Ron, 'ave missed yer!"

The girl laughed as well, and said," It's nice to see you Hagrid." Then, she pointed at us. "Who are they?" she asked.

"They're-" he started.

"We're the american exchange students." Thalia interupted.

"Ah, there you are" Hagrid said. "Now, yer three should come with me. We're going on boats to the castle."

Thalia and Nico paled. "B-boats?" Nico managed. I laughed. "Yes," Hagrid said, looking at them carefully. "Demigods, eh?" he asked quietly.

"Yes," Annabeth answered.

"Don' worry, seein' as you've got him," he gestured at me, "You won' be tipped."

They nodded cautiously, and carefully made their way down to the boats. "C'mon!" I yelled. "You won't get wet!"

Annabeth sniggered. "Not," I whispered to her.

Nico and Thalia gripped each other's hand, and with pale faces, got into a boat. "Aren't-aren't you two coming?" Thalia gulped. Annabeth and I laughed. "Sure." We got in carelessly, causing the boat to tip. Nico gasped, clinging to the side of the boat. Jason, Piper, and Leo made their way to another boat. Frank and Hazel got on another.

"Let's get this party started!" I yelled.

Thalia POV

I am going to kill Jackson! He will use this as a way t get us both traumatized and wet! It is so annoying! I clung to Nico's hand like my life depended on it.

We went most of the way with no incidents, and all of the sudden, I felt a cold splash of water dousing both Nico and I, but Percy and Annabeth were completely dry.

"Oh, you're getting it this time, Jackson. And don't think that you're out of it, Chase!" Immediately, Annabeth stopped laughing.

"Percy, dry them off!" she commanded.

"But-" he started.

"We will create a scene at the beginning of school ceremony or something if they're wet! And, I feel kinda bad. It's freezing outside!" she exclaimed

"All right," Percy grumbled. He tapped us both on the shoulders, and immediately, we were dry.

Hagrid led us to the castle, and stopped. "I'll be leaving you here. Stay here until Professor McGonnagal comes."

A blonde boy walked up to a dark-haired boy, and said," So it's true?" Harry Potter has finally come to Hogwarts?"

"That would be me," the dark-haired boy said.

The blonde one looked at the red-haired one. "Oh," he said, looking disdainfully at him. "You must be a Weasley. You see, some wizards are better than others. I'm Draco. Draco Malfoy. I can help you choose the better ones.

"I think I can choose my friends on my own, thank you very much." Harry said.

Draco rose his eyebrow. "Oh, really? We-"

"What's going on here?" I asked, knowing perfectly well what was happening.

Draco looked me up, and down. "Who're you?"

"Percy Jackson. We're the american exchange students. If I see you picking on him," I pointed at Harry,"again, well, you should watch your back." I walked back to the demigods.

"My father will hear of this!" he threatened.

"Your father will know exactly what we are, and tell you not to mess with us, because he knows exactly who we are." Thalia looked him in the eye, and he quickly looked away.

Finally, the teacher came.

"Ah, you must be the american exchange students." she told the nine of us. I nodded. "Stay here while I take the first years to the Great Hall. Come." she directed the last part to the midgets standing in front of us. They all filed out into the Great Hall.

Finally, the teacher came back and said, "Thank goodness you're here. There have been growing amounts of monsters in the Forbidden Forest, we fear they are going to attack the castle. However, you must go in the Great Hall to be sorted now."
