► FAKE LOVE TEASER

[ fan theory for the "fake love" teaser. ]

Magic Shop is a psychosomatic technique that exchanges fear for a positive attitude.

It all starts with the "Magic Shop", you can see how most of the boys enter the place carrying items in their hands, they all enter there... except Jungkook.

When Sunhye's turn comes, you can see how she observes the dark room, she seems a little confused and terrified (this is due to her fear of the darkness from which we learn thanks to the Short Film), although everything is dark she wears a blue dress which turns out to be very similar to the white dress she wore in the Spring Day MV, her black and braided hair is on her left shoulder while the shoes she wears making contact with the ground is the only things that can be heared in the dead silence of that place.

You can see that she has toy in her right hand; an old and white bear and which in fact isn’t the first time to make an appearance. Many deduced that the white toy represents her purity and innocence since it first appeared in the I Need U MV. However, when she exchange the plush bear for something else with the person wearing a black hood, it can be observed that the plush bear is stained with blood.

Sunhye receives a necklace with the pendant of a star in return (which can be seen in one of the Highlight Rheel videos), but she doesn’t seems satisfied. Rather a grimace is formed on her face. This is possibly because she doesn’t want it or because she knows deep down that what she is receiving it won't last long, it’s only something that is ephemeral. At least for her.

Her attention is soon after placed on a door and she furrow her brows with confusion and she puts one of her hands to her chest, as if she is feeling something that calls her to it. But she ignore it and moments later leaves the dark place holding the necklace in her left hand, she seems not to care too much about the fact that she had changed her fear for something she had wanted so much; happiness.

This could symbolize the fact that she really doesn’t care about her happiness, as can be seen in the previous MVs, she never cared much for herself in reality, even when she was suffering she always tried to help the boys, spending time with them, trying to make them laugh...

However the next thing to observe in the Teaser is that Jungkook appears in the shop and it seems like really didn’t wanting it and although he doesn’t give anything he receives something in return; a key. That’s probably because he doesn’t want happiness or because, maybe, he gave something without even wanting it.

Himself.

Probably you would wonder what has to do with the fact that Jungkook and Sunhye were the only ones to notice the door (or it seems that they were the only ones) and probably this is because what is behind the door is much more connected to them than to the others.

The room it’s dark and cold, but inside is someone waiting in there, it’s wearing all black and its scary pale and when he seems Jungkook it looks like he is smiling.

Some started to think that the person inside the room were all the boys bad emotions but some thinks that it’s Sunhye inner demon; her pain, her sadness, her self hate and insecurities that were locked because that’s how she always lived, hidden her own emotions, taking everyone's pain until the point that she couldn't take it anymore.

She was the only one who gave  happiness to the boys through some of the MVs (in some ways) so that could possible mean that the person who was giving them positivity in change for their fears was herself even when she didn't really knew it, but in some point this would ruin her.

So Jungkook have to unlocked all the emotions that she keeps locked to help her.

And it makes more sense that Sunhye was the only one who could feel that something isn’t right when she received the necklace and saw the door, because she felt that something wasn't right.

She never didn't know much about happiness and never had it unless she saw her friends being happy and that’s how she was happy, making the other feel that ephemeral emotion because, in reality when she was alone, her sadness would never really go away.

Not until she learned how to LOVE HERSELF.

It’s known that Sunhye’s character has her own problems dealing with depression and self hate since the I Need U MV we can see that she is really disgusted by her appearance and this doesn’t change much in the following videos, it seems that she can make everyone love her but she can’t love herself so she just pretends to do it.

And if she really doesn’t love herself then, what she gives to the others is fake love.
