Walking in the oh so familiar hallways, I sigh. What has my life become? The halls are already stuffed, like a stuffed turkey on Thanksgiving. You would think would fun going to a big high school, being able to escape in the big pools of people, but in reality it's just a big pain in the butt. Slithering my way through the big crowd I finally spot a familiar face.

Seeing the pink hair made it easier to find her. But much to my surprise she was not alone. From the distance I couldn't place a face on the body but as I got closer my surprise grew even bigger. WHAT?!?

"Hey June!"

Just as I turned on my heel to slowly walk away, my best friend Zoe saw me. It's not that I have something against Zoe, or our friendship, or something that happened during summer break. It was what was lying around her shoulder that frightened me.

Turning around again I put on my best smile and walk casually towards my best friend.

"Hi, what's going on guys?" I say in the best way I can without being disrespectful towards 'The arm' casually snaked around her shoulders.

"We are doing just fine, thanks!" she chirped before turning serious. "But we want to talk to you if you have time." Looking confused at them, I took up my schedule from my backpack and searched for my first class as Senior.

Yes, I was that girl.

"I have class in five, so maybe during lunch" I smile as sweetly as I can, considering I was really confused. Seeing them look at each other having a telepathic conversation then suddenly nodding and turning to me and smiling like a couple of lunatics.

Looking at me like I was a billion dollars, creeping me out, I quickly wave them my good-byes jogging to my locker.

On my walk to my locker I start thinking. I thought Zoe had a thing for him and she was usually acting all bubbly and nervous around him, but back there she wasn't nervous and on the tips of her feet to do anything with him. She just seemed cool around him, and might I add romantic? What? No! That is impossible that something is happening between them. She would have told me. I mean she has had a crush on him since he moved here. She would tell me right?

Too caught up in my train of thoughts I didn't realize that I crashed into someone. Smashing my body against theirs in the speed I was walking did not end up with a good result. Losing my balance I tripped backwards, reaching out to hold onto anything for my dear life, I grabbed an arm, pulling the person down with me as I fell on the hard floor underneath me.

In a mere second I thought I was okay, but next my body was crushed by my fellow student I dragged down with me. The air in my lungs puffed out, leaving me breathless on the cold floor with a giant on top of me. Gasping for air, I wailed my arms in the air trying to make the giant leave my petite body.

Almost out of air I felt the weight getting lifted of my body, making me gasp out for air like a moron. Concentrating on my breathing I didn't notice who my falling buddy was. Turning my face around, making my light brown hair fall in my face I try getting up only to realize that it wasn't going to happen any time soon.

Hearing the bell ring, I eternally scream at myself. I find my bag and start getting up when I hear a voice. Twisting my head looking at the person I crashed into, I screech looking into the eyes of the devil. A frown started forming in my face as I quickly stand up; brush the dust off my floral dress and strut of before I can embarrass myself. But unfortunately as I turn he grabs my hand making me fall once again, but this time into his muscular chest.

Conflicting with myself as I try to push the tingles back in my head, and at the same time I push myself from the chest of the devil. Failing miserable only making him tighten his arms around me. I sigh, even though giving up was never a question I knew I couldn't win this fight.
