On the day of the function Taehyung ware his school uniform.He prepared a speech and practiced it infront of the mirror .Jimin who was with Taehyung while practicing and prepairing the speech felt more like a brother than ever.Taehyung having Jimin around could somehow feel his brotherly presence which motivated him more in working hard.
Reaching the function Taehyung along with Jimin entered and without further ado the functions started.The awardees and nominees were filled with happiness of achieving honour.So did Taehyung when his name was called out among thousand others. But when the last and the most grand award the 'student of the year ' award's awardee Jimin was called Taehyung went up the stage recieved and thanked the host for the award and later delievered a heart touching speech;
"So,thank you all for this award" he said taking a glimpse of the golden crest "Well I'm not Jimin"he smiled as the audience giggled ,"But I can say what Jimin would've said if he were here .He'd say thank you all for loving me and thinking me as worthy of this award, and... actually that's all he would say". The crowd along with Taehyung and Jimin who was standing behind Tae had a little laugh "but I can tell you this Jimin was a person who would never leave you,he'd never let you down,he'd be the only one to love you when others get dissapointed.But sadly Jimin our beloved Jimin passed away on 2nd September.And the last thing he said was I love you to his youngest brother Jungkook.Yes he may be annoying,disturbing and stubborn at times but he was perfect the way he was ,true to himself and to his fellow friends and family, so I have come in his place to send a message to all of you that, LIFE is a short time ,there will be times of happiness and there will also come a time in life of sorrow but we have to stand strong and cherish life for all it gives us .We must not waste our life following others rather we have to follow our own paths,where ever it leads us.So with this I'm ending my speech thank you everyone"
Just when Taehyung was about to leave everyone present there stood up with teary eyes with mixed emotions of sorrow and happiness clapped.Jimin with wet red eyes ran to Taehyung from behind just to present him with a tight back hug.Taehyung felt Jimin's weight on him and thaught of the warmth of his elder brother's love bestowed on him.
