A cat was kitting for the first time. It hurt, but she was pushing through it. "Do we have to do this?" she asked another cat.  She wished she would be able to not do this but it was destiny. If she didn't then the kit would not be able to be who she was meant to be.

"You know what was said to you. Number one kit is the one, to save the life of tuns. They will know when the time is right, the way to sunhigh. An unexpected will be the help to the one of light." The other cat responded. He was a gray tom with black and white spots.

"I wish I know what sunhigh is." She was an orange she-cat with white stripes. She felt so bad to leave her kit alone. Once she finished kitting she gave the kit milk. "Good luck I will always watch you in my dreams," she whispered to the kit. "One day I will see you again." Then they left.

In a nearby wheat field, a small white dog came trotting into the grass. He heard someone whining. Then he spotted an orange kitten. "Where is your mother little girl?" he asked her. But all the kitten did was whine more.

he picked her up and carefully brought her to a puddle in the wheat field. He helped her drink and then snuggled up close to her to sleep. "I will take care of you till you diced to leave" he promised to her, then he slept.
