~Chapter 4~

I cry, I cry for what feels like hours. Why me? Of everyone this happens to its me.
"What did I do to deserve this? I spend every minute of everyday acting like a maid for my step family and the one time I might actually get to socialise with other people they snatch it away from me right when it felt close" 

 I cry into my knees before I here a sigh behind me.
"It's sad... you are a very nice boy, if only you could go to that ball" I jump at the voice and quickly wipe my eyes before turning around.
"It's sorry ma'am I didn't mean to distu-" Hanji stood there. We'll sat there on the branches of the tree.

"Oh hello hanji nice to see you" I fake a smile and she glares.
"Don't fake a smile young one it doesn't suit you, anyway, what's happenned?" I sigh and stare at her. Should I trust her? I feel fluttering around me and two birds land on my shoulders.

"Hey armin, mikasa" I smile softly before turning to hanji
"It's nothing important don't worry" She scowls at me and pulls out a pen and a notebook. She starts writing something down.
"Nono this just won't do, you need to go to that ball" I glare.

"I cant" I spit through gritted teeth and kick the tree.
"Zeke is the worst person on the earth, and to think he's my step brother...." My gaze softens "I just wanted something nice... for once" She walks up to me and lifts my chin inspecting me. Like she wasn't listening to anything I just said.

"Good feminine face structure.... hair will have to be longer definitely.... obviously physical changes will have to be made" She mutters under her breath and looks at the birds.
"One for the back and one for the horse.... I need a horse" She mutters and looks around. 

Millie walks up to me and brushes up against my leg.
"Hmm that should work" Okay what?
"Hanji what are you doing?" I ask sick and tired of the mumbling.
"Getting you to the ball silly" I groan.

"Hanji please stop you're making me feel worse, there's no way I can go and be there on time with a half decent outfit" I feel tears start to well up in my eyes. She scoffs and I look up with a glare.

"What type of fairy godmother would I be if I couldn't get you to the ball haha!"I was taken back by her statement.... fairy godmother.... the ones from the old fairytale books my mum used to read me

"Fairly godmother? Are you okay?" I laugh slightly at her serious expression. She giggles and out of nowhere her body changes and she turns into a younger woman and a light glow emits from around her. A long red dress hangs from her body and she stares up at me.

"Fairy god mother" She repeats laughing. My mouth hangs open as I see armin and mikasa staring, probably in shock like me. She giggles and picks up Millie.
"Millie you are going to be my helpful little horse okay?" Miller hisses and Hanji points her pen at Millie and a bright light comes straight at Millie.

 I turn away from the light. I look back to see a white horse saddled and decorated beautifully and Hanji looking around. She spots our garden and pulls a pumpkin from the ground and places it behind Millie..... what.... is going on....? 

She shoots her wierd pen thing at the pumpkin, immersing is this white floral globe carriage and it's really beautiful... I stare in awe completely forgetting this was all MAGIC from my FAIRY GODMOTHER like why isn't this wierd when it's in books?!
Hanji walks over to me and takes armin off my shoulder. He tries to fly away but hanji puts her pen on him and a white light glows around him. 

I close my eyes shielding myself from the glow and when I re open them he's the same armin I met in my dream. He was wearing a navy blue suit with a red pocket square. His hair was slicked back and he looked really smart. 

"It's you! Oh my god! It's you! You were like this in my dream!" I run to him and hug him.
"Hey well look at that I am taller" I look up at armin is indeed quite taller than me. I huff and see white light behind me. Turning I see mikasa in a black floor length dress with a red dress scarf draped around her shoulders.

 I gasp and run to her. I hug her also and I feel my legs tingle. I turn to hanji and she has her pen pointed at me.
"W-wait!" I say quickly. She pauses and raises an eyebrow.
"You don't want to go to the ball?" I shake my head.
"No no i do! Just... what are you going to do?"
"Dress and change you for the ball!" She says excitedly. I turn around to see armin at the front of the carriage with the horse reins and mikasa holding onto the back on a step.

Well.... it's only me left... what would Dina say if she spots me?? I don't know if she'll actually kill me or not... okay I'm just going to have to forget about her and enjoy this while I can. I sigh and turn to hanji. She smiles wide and points her pen at me.

The last thing I see is white swirling around me. I feel a wierd sensation in my head and realise my hair is growing alot longer and there's a wierd feeling in my chest... SHE'S MAKING ME A GIRL?! 

A white cloth wraps all around my body morphing into a beautiful silk floor length dress that has lace down my arms reaching two white gloves.... I'M NOT A GIRL THOUGH. I hear laughing as the light around me fades to see armin and mikasa staring wide eyed at me with amusement in their eyes. 

I look at Hanji and she tilts her head.
"What?" She asks
"I'm a girl!!!!"
"And?? You're gorgeous! Look!" She makes a mirror appear and I look in it.

 I actually look like my mother.... I stare at my reflection before turning away and armin and mikasa seem to notice aswell.
"Eren you look like your mum" Armin chimes. I smile and nod. Happy at the feeling. I look at Hanji.

"Can I be a guy or am I stuck like this?"
"Do you want Dina to recognise you?" I guess she has a point. I smile at her and pull her in for a hug. She returns it and points the the carriage.
"Go on, you'll have a great time, the magic wears off at midnight, so you'll have to get back before you turn back" I nod and smile wide.

"Thank you so much hanji" She turns back into her normal self and helps me in the carriage. I look at my feet. I already had quite small feet so they haven't changed but I notice two glass slippers on each. Both shining and sparkling. Hanji closes the gate and armin snaps the reins and Millie starts walking.

"Have fun eren!" She smiles. I nod. I guess my name can stay the same. It can be both a girls and a boys name I suppose.
Tears well up slightly in my eyes as I realise I'm out of the house and going to meet alot of new people tonight.... this is going to be great.
