August's Bae (August Alsina)

Hey, my name is Cassandra Dickerson and I'm from New Orleans. I'm 16 years old. I go to Northside High here in downtown New Orleans. I play basketball and I'm a cheerleader for Northside High. Of course, I'm a saints fan💁💁. And my best friend is August Alsina. We've been through EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING together. That's my R.O.D (ride or die) till the day we both leave the Earth. I'm in a relationship with Devin Hendrix. I'm in honors math, and that's the only honors class I take. I'm basically nice, unless you make me mad, then you can get your rounds. I live with my aunt Sandra and my uncle Donovan, sometimes I think they don't care about me, when I was younger my aunt Sandra made sure I was on top of my grades she doesn't do that anymore so, I think she doesn't care about me. I live with them because my dad is in the state pen and my mom is dead😭😭.

Wassup, I'm yours truly August Alsina. I'm 16 years old and I'm from downtown New Orleans. I also go to Northside High here in downtown. I play basketball for my school. I live with my mom and brother Mel because my dad is a dead beat and has never been there for us. My best friend is Cassandra Dickerson, and she been rocking with me since day ONE!!!!! Ok well that's enough of my boring life. Time to get to the story.

Cassandra's POV
I'm at August house with him and a few more friends, we were supposed to be studying for Mr. Magee's History test, but we ended up watching a movie. Me personally, I HATE history, the people we learn about are dead and gone so why learn about them? I really think it's stupid but since I HAVE to take the class, I might as well deal with it. The guys were now playing the Xbox. I really needed to study for Mr. Magee's History test.

C: Auggie?? Best friend in the whole world??? Can I go up to your room and study???

A: Yeah, sure shawty. Whatever you need...

C: Thanks Auggie!!! 😃😃 Love ya best friend!!!😘

A: Love you too best friend.

I headed up to Auggie's room to study. I opened the door, and August had this HUGE 4 inch binder on his bed. I walked over to his bed and I saw "August's Song Book" in big red and black block letters. I always knew August wanted to be a singer but I never knew he had this big song book. I opened it up and the first set of lyrics I saw were "One day, I'm gone be able to let my mom retire, cause one day I'll be on top and we'll be rich!" I closed the note book and started studying. I had been studying a while. I checked my phone, "5:55". I put my history notebook, and history book in my backpack and went downstairs. Everybody else had left. August was sitting on the couch with his headphones on writing. I decided to sneak up on him. I walked behind the couch, and covered his eyes with my hands. He moved my hands and tilted his head back.

A: Shawty, you almost got shot, can't be doing that to a dude.

C: I'm sorry, Auggie but I'm hungry.

A: I am too, I was waiting on you to finish studying.

C: Thanks for not interrupting me.

A: Welcome, so what you want to eat?

C: McDonald's!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

A: Fattie!! 😂😂

C: Shut up.

A: Let's go.

We got in the car and we headed to McDonald's.

August's POV

I parked my car and we went in McDonald's. I told Cassandra to order whatever she wanted because it was on me, but I wasn't expecting her to order a Big Mac meal and some cookies. I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese. We sat down at the back of the restaurant.
