We got our costumes and went to Jenna's house to get ready. "Shoot. I forgot to text my mom" I text her and she replies that's ok. I curl my hair and put on makeup. I finished up and got dressed in a short, white silk dress with diamonds and pearls. I feel like a white goddess in this dress. I put on my mask which matches the design of my dress. "You look gorgeous!" said Jenna. "I got to admit, you look great" said Ruby. "Thanks, let's go". We arrived and her mansion is packed full. "What a surprise" I say. We all head inside where the music is full blast and the DJ is playing with the lights. Their must have been the whole school here because I've never noticed their be so many students went to our school. "I need a drink, want one?" asked Ruby. "Sure, but better not be strong" I answered. I walk around talking to people I know from classes until I see her dressed in pink, Rebecca. Meghan like always right be her side stands their and talks with anyone Rebecca approves of. But, like always their talking to the football team and her boyfriend Matt. I roll my eyes. "Hey, you came" said Ethan who surprised me. "Yeah." "you look great, angel." Said Ethan. I've never had a nickname unless friends called me Ella but that was rare, but to hear one from Ethan made me smile. "Sorry Ethan I got to go see you later" I said. "Yeah, talk later." I ran looking for Ruby or Jenna but I couldn't see anyone. I checked the kitchen to wear Ruby was suppose to get a drink half an hour ago. I later found her and Jenna with a group of people in a hall talking. I join them. "Hey Ellen, glad you came" said Sam. Sam was Ruby's boyfriend for 6 months now. "Hey, Sam" I say. "So do you guys want to go to the haunted house down a couple of blocks down?" Asked Sam's friend. "Yeah, it's boring here anyway" exclaimed Ruby. "I'll come" said Jenna. "Coming Ellen?" said Ruby. "I don't know." "Come on, after we through will head home, ok?" Said Jenna. "Fine. But soon as we're done we go home." "Yep" said Ruby.
