The doors burst open as none other than Xavier Rivera walked in. He was twenty minutes late as usual, yet the teacher failed to say anything. Hair as dark as night with eyes to match, and the sharpest cheekbones I've ever seen, it was no wonder the girls sighed dreamily as he walked by. He was a living breathing god around here. The teacher barked something up front to get the class attention once again as Xavier took his seat.

As I was dotting down notes to help me later for whatever assignment Mr. Smith might give us, I couldn't help but let a small shiver pass through me, feeling eyes on me.

I looked to the left, surprised to see Xavier staring intently at me. You'd think he was doing a Rubik's cube by how focused he was. The corners of his mouth lifted up slightly as he noticed me staring. Either my mind is playing tricks on me or he just smiled. But why would the hottest guy in school be staring at me? I shook my head ridding my thoughts of the impossible. Xavier Rivera doesn't just smile at people.

For the remainder of the class I did my best to focus on my work.

I jumped as the bell rung signaling the end of class. Did I really fall asleep? I looked up noticing the class was half empty. I quickly gathered my stuff rushing out the door, only to smack into something hard.

I glanced up to see none other than Xavier. I could feel myself flushing being this close to him. "Where's the fire?" He chuckled, steadying me.

"S-sorry I didn't see you there!" I tried to maneuver around him, hoping to make my great escape before I could embarrass myself even more. He blocked me.

Giving me a crooked smile, he held his hand out to me. "I'm Xavier."

"I know who you are." I blurted out before I could stop myself. Great now he's going to think I'm a stalker.

He raised one perfectly arched eyebrow at me. "Well I would love to get to know you more, to make things...even." He wants to get to know me? Am I dreaming?

I cleared my throat. "Um why?"

"Why what?" He looked genuinely confused by my question.

"Why do you want to get to know me?" I clarified.

He shrugged placing a hand on the locker next to my head. When did we move by the lockers? "Why not? You're kind of cute." I stiffened at his words. What does he mean by 'kind of'?

"Don't you have a girlfriend?" I slide sideways a little trying to distance myself from his arm. He smelled like bad decisions and fun times.

He leaned in closer, once again smiling at me. "I'm looking at her."

I let my facade drop, giving him a huge smile. "You're such a dork." I grinned throwing my arms around him, pulling his mouth to mine. Happy he's mine.
