Prologue: Battle

It is now summer break. Izuku Midoriya or, Deku is sitting on the couch, watching the news. The screen suddenly display "breaking news". The relaxed position he has earlier was gone. He's on the edge of the seat!

"There is a reported attack on the-"

Deku can't resist but immediately make a run towards the building. He just can't afford to finish listening to the news. Who knows if every second he waits there is someone being killed.

After some time, he arrived at the building. It just so happens that Deku is familiar with this building. He once entered in here together with All Might.

Searching every floor, it reminds him of the time when he was in UA. When he was together with Uraraka but, He can't afford to think of that now. All that's important is to rescue the hostages and defeat the attacker.

When he reach the 11th floor, he hears sounds of heavy footsteps.

Dag!

Suddenly, the door in front of him breaks and flies. Inside the room is a big black bird looking humanoid with its brain out in the open.

Deku, being on class 1-A back then is simply too familiar with this creature. The man with many hands attached onto his body reffered to it as "Nomu". This creature fought with All Might toe to toe. But, what's in front of him now is much more terrifying than before.

Deku take a step backwards and rear back his right hand, taking a battle stance. Nomu notice it and tilted his head to the battle ready Deku.

" Come, villain"

Deku smiles. Even if his hands are shaking, cold sweats dripping, he still smiles like a certain Pro hero he admire.

The Nomu charge forward to Deku. Whether it understand or not Deku's provocation, it's not important.

Deku rear his right hand more and releases it, like an arrow being shot from a bow. Their fist clashes. Shockwaves sweep across the room, making all the debris and items fly out.

Deku have an 90% success of using One for All without breaking his arm or two. They exchange blows. Their punches so fast one can barely see it but, if you look closely, you can see that Deku is on the losing side.

He is occasionally push back by Nomu. He is fighting earnestly until...

Pah!

He is punched by Nomu on his abdomen. He puke a mouthful of blood.

Bang!

He is hit by Nomu on his face, which causes him to fly across the room and crash on the wall. He fall to the ground.

He looked at Nomu mockingly and smile. He stand up and wipe the blood on the corner of his mouth. When he look back at Nomu, he didn't see it there.

He felt a blunt pain on his back. He fly again across the room and hit the wall. He is laying on his stomach. He try to stand up but, Nomu step on his back and hold his head.

Nomu pushes Deku's head on the concrete. It is strikingly simillar back when Deku's teacher, Aizawa, was attacked by Nomu.

Deku is utterly defeated and waiting for his death until...

Boom!

A loud explosion occur.

"Deku!! Don't you dare die!! You freaking Nerd!"

The shout seems like it's louder than the explosion. Deku smile. He called for backup when he saw Nomu a little while back before they started fighting using his phone.

Kuaak!

Nomu let out an eerie screech as it is attacked by bakugo's explosion.

Boom boom!

Because of Bakugo's attack, Deku manages to escape from the grasp of death.

"Are you okay, Midoriya?" A cool calm voice resound in Deku's ears. He looked at the voice and see Todoroki and Kirishima.

"Bakugo's so manly!!" Kirishima shouts, cheering for his idol, Bakugo.

"Shut up, rock man" Bakugo seems like he's not very fond of the support Kirishima gives him.

"What? My name is Kirishima though" Kirishima's words seems to annoy Bakugo more.

"It's not the time for the talking, it's time for attacking" From where Todoroki is standing there materialize ice, stretching towards Nomu.

When Nomu's feet and hands freezes, Bakugo jumps out from the back of Nomu.

"Tch, stealing my kill" bakugo hisses at Todoroki. Todoroki on the other hand didn't bother listening to Bakugo which, annoys Bakugo more.

"You dare ignore me, fifty fifty!!" Again, Todoroki didn't bother listening to Bakugo.

After a while, they are slowly suppressing Nomu. Explosion, punch, fire and ice, they arent stopping from attacking Nomu.

Just when they are about to see the light of hope, it is quickly covered by the shadows of darkness, also known as "Villains".

" I'm bored," A man wearing a black spandex and is covered by hands says.

"Let's play already." On his voice, you can feel its lifelessness. The voice send shivers down the spine of the four. Even Bakugo isn't exempted.

Behind the man are identical creature of the one they're fighting, Nomu. Turns out, Nomu isn't just one, they're Nomus.

The sliver of hope soon vanished in thin air.

"We have no choice but to fight!" Deku shouts. The only expressions on his face are fear and helplessness.

Even in this desperate situation, Deku still smiles.
