"Started in Kansas"

a/n: this was inspired to Sam's snapchat story when they're in the beach and Colby is having fun on the waves with some dude friend, and the snapchat is captioned "started in Kansas" - so, yeah I just have to put a little back story haha enjoy this little imagine x!

Today is the first day of summer. And since Sam and Colby, my two very best friends are back here in Kansas, we planned out to spend the first day of summer in the beach!

I only live a street away from them so there is no rush in meeting up with them.

As I was tying an elastic on my braided hair, I heard the doorbell ring. I was about to run down the stair to open the door, but I think my mom beat me into it, cause I am now on the floor with the two doofus on me, literally squishing me.

"WE MISS YOU Y/N!"

"UGH! GET OFF ME!" I push them away as I stand up and stretch my arms and legs that has been squish by Sam and Colby.

"Geez! I was hoping you miss us back, Y/Last/N." Colby retorted, as I notice someone beside my door.

"Hi!" She shyly wave at me as I noticed her.

"OMG! Kat, hi!" I grab her in my room and hug her.

"Sam! You didn't inform me that Kat will be coming with you!" I playfully punch Sam on his arm. You see, when I got to visit them in LA, I met Kat, and well we kinda click to be best friends.

"And of course, I miss you, Brock!" I hug Colby again since he gives the warmest and cuddliest hugs.

We just placed our stuff on the sand with a large umbrella over us, when Colby purposely throw his shirt on my face then come running to the ocean along with Sam.

"They're dorks, y'know." Kat said as we make ourselves comfortable under the sun.

"Yeah. But the biggest dork is Colby. Sam is smart." I said.

"A smart ass!" Kat joke as I laugh at her for saying that to his boyfriend.

"I don't understand why you and Colby aren't together yet." Kat said that under the blue as I almost spit the strawberry juice I was drinking.

"What the hell?! Me and Colby are just besties, period!" I laugh at her as she just stare at me with a smirk on her lips.

"Well, I just think that you and Colby are a perfect match."

"Why's that?"

"I don't know... the aura of you being close together makes me want you guys to be together. Even Sam knows that." She said sounding more serious, making me go deep in my own thoughts.

I've been friends with the two of them since they started to do Vines. But I've been friends with Colby since we were in diapers. Our moms are best friends, and I don't know, destiny made us also to be best friends. But girlfriend's and boyfriend's? I don't think so.

"Hmm. We'll see what the future holds, Kat." I said as I was about to drink my strawberry juice when it got grab away from me with me being put on the shoulder of someone, and that someone is Colby.

Colby started running through the water while I heard Kat screaming and laughing from a distance with Sam.

"Colby! I swear if your throw me on the water you'll be dead!" I warn him as he stop when the water hits his waist.

"If I'm going to be dead, might as well kiss this ass a bye-bye!" That's when he threw me on the freaking water.

"Colby, you son of a b!tch!" I yell at him as he laugh at me with my now wet look.

"And did you just kissed my butt cheeks?!" I said as I came deathly near him, ready to grab those luscious hair of his.

"But you like it." He retorts as he also came closer to me.

"Why would I like it?" Up now, we are only centimetres apart as we are looking each other.

"Cause you like me." He looks at my lips then back again to my eyes. But I wouldn't dare to not look anywhere but his gorgeous blue eyes.

"I know you like me, y/n. Hell, I don't care if you don't. But what I care for now is what I am feeling for you. I like you, y/n. And I don't care if yo-" I shush him with my pointer finger on his damn plump lips.

"You're blabbering." I laugh as he just look at me intently.

"You think I wouldn't like you back? Let me show you what I feel." And with that, I kiss him, and he kiss back.

Doing that, made my mind go back to what I last said to Katrina, "Hmm. We'll see what the future holds, Kat.", this is the start of the future that I'll be holding, and that is being with Colby Brock.
