imagine: Rocket being mad at Quill for flirting with you

It was one of those days where you were alone with Rocket. Just a normal day: hugs and little kisses. Of course he did not do that infront of the others. Infront of them he needs to be tough but with you alone he's a sweetheart. You loved him so mucj that you just randomly tell him that, just to make sure he knows. And you were going to say it again... "Rocky?" He looked up at you "yeah babe?" He already knew what you were going to say "i love y-" "AND THE STAR-LORD IS BACK IN THA HOUSE" oh no...

Before you even noticed it Rocket was already off your lap. Awkward silence.... "uhm, hey peter." You smiled awkwardly. Peter nodded at you and then walked to his room. After 10 second you heard music coming from his room. You realised it was your favourite song 'the jackson 5, i want you back' YESSS. "I'm going to check on peter , K?" You said to rocket and before he could answer with a no you already walked away.

You knocked on peter's door. "Hey (y/n), sorry i interupted you 2." You smiled, he can be annoying but he's also really nice. "It's okay, i just heard my fave song from here." Peter smiled "my mother liked it, she and i used to dance on it together." He looked at the ground and then back at you, "can i have this dance with you, my lady." He bowed and you giggled "of course" you didnt just dance on that song noooo,  you danced with him all day long. Poor Rocket waiting for you to get back, and after waiting so long he decided to check on you. Of course he trusted you but not Quill.

"Hey (y/n) wha-" he watched as peter pulled you closer and closer. You pushed him away and.. slapped him. "Peter how dare you, you know i'm with Rocket!" You wanted to walk out of his room but saw Rocket infront of you. "I swear i didnt-" he looked at you and grinned "i know, i love you."  You smiled. He wasnt mad at you.. but Quill. You walked out of the room and the door closed you could only hear Rocket yelling at Peter and apparently he broke something. You didnt care about the fight you only cared about that Rocket said he loves you. And only the memory made your heart go faster...
