A man once said to achieve great things one must sacrifice stability and push one's limit past sanity. Where did I read this from? A comic book. Not that I know anything about what it means or cared, am just a fan of comics.
I mean I love reading them, they actually make me feel comfortable. You want to know what my favorite comic book is? The flash!

I mean that guy is so awesome when it comes to speed. Am such a fan, my entire wall in my room is covered with his pictures. I even have a few of his shirt in my closet, but forget about all of that. Where am I at the moment, I am on my bed and actually sleeping and fantasying about the comic book I read last night. Not until I was rudely interrupted by my alarm.
I pounded it in order to make the sound stop while still closing my eyes but it kept on ringing.

" Alright! Alright! Am up!" I said lifting myself up and sat upright yawning at the same time but the alarm is still ringing. I shut it off and threw it inside a cupboard beside me filled with comic books and papers locking it.

" Alex! You are going to be late for school!" My mom called out and if you are wondering that's my name. Today is Monday, another week of schooling. I hate Mondays it's so boring, sometimes I wonder why the first day of the week can't be named Wednesday that's my favorite day.

" One minute mum" I yelled and walked into my pairs of slippers as I rushed into the bathroom to get a quick shower. I let the hot water pour down my muscled skin for a while and then rinsed myself before brushing my teeth, after am done, I existed the bathroom and quickly changed into a pair of skinny jeans and a green long sleeve I dug out from my Waldrop. I combed my wavy dark brown hair that I inherited from my mother but hers happen to be curly.
I took my glasses cleaning the lens with a small white towel and put it on grabbing my bag pack and hearding downstairs. The reason why I wore glasses was because I had an accident when I was a kid which left me short sighted, but no one knows this except my parents and my child hood friend. Some other peers in school, they called me a nerd because of it. It hurts but I never mind them.

When I arrived at the living room, my mum was setting the dishes. She is three feet taller than me with a flexible build that I also inherited, blue eyes and a fair skin tone, she also works at a flower shop downtown few miles away from my school. I greeted her and she kissed my forehead asking me to come join her and my dad for breakfast who is actually sitting on the couch watching the news on TV.
My dad is a detective at the new York city police department but today he is taking a day off to get some rest on the criminal case that has been keeping him late in the station.

I grabbed a pancake from one of the plate saying I was already late for school. I gave my dad a quick hug before leaving, but before I left I caught a glimpse of the breaking news. Ab assassin or rather a human hybrid named " Tiger Claw" that's how he looked like, a tiger and that's what the public are calling him. He robbed a local bank and killed three people escaping, the reporter also explained that though the superhero group known as " Team Dragon" who has been helping people and fighting crime throughout the city for the past three months and whom am dying to meet were on the scene, they couldn't catch the guy. To say this city is weirder is an understatement.

I arrived at the end of my street block to catch a bus while already done eating my pancake but no bus will show up, dang it! Am late I yelled inside of me. Sometimes I wish i had the flash powers I wouldn't have to take the bus anymore. While waiting I gazed around my environment, I actually live in Brooklyn new York which sits on the western end of long island.
The iconic Brooklyn bridge, built in 1883, connect it to Manhattan. Neighborhoods range from high end dumbo( between Manhattan and Brooklyn bridge), Williamsburg, a hotbed of indie music, and nightlife, to bench front Coney island and it amusement parks. Leafy, row house filled districts include Brooklyn heights and park slope.
