Epilogue

I just got a really great inspiration for an epilogue so I decided to write it out and post it here. I didn't revise it so if there's any mistakes just let me know in the comments. 

Epilogue

1 year later…

“I’ve got something special planned for us, Clara!” I exclaimed as I heard the TARDIS doors close behind her.

Clara smiled at me from across the TARDIS. It had been a week since she’d seen me but only a few minutes since I’d seen her. At first I didn’t want to bring her, in fear of what the others might think, but as I was about to leave, decided otherwise. I liked miss Clara a lot, so I assumed that they must too.

“Where are we going?” Clara smiled, “I mean – when are we going?”

“Nowhere. We’re staying in this exact place.”

She looked at me in confusion.

“No, not here. Somewhere else, but same time, well not exactly but no significant difference. Maybe a few hours or a day or maybe a couple of weeks. It doesn’t matter!”

Clara laughed, “Whatever you say!”

I started up the TARDIS without another word.

“But really, Doctor. Where are we going?” She asked.

“To visit some old friends,” I said.

“Am I welcome?”

“Of course. Clara Oswin Oswald, you’ll always be welcome wherever I am.”

Clara smiled.

The TARDIS doors swung open and Clara spun around with wide eyes to see who could possibly be entering the TARDIS. Though I knew exactly who it was.

“You’ve redecorated,” Sherlock commented. I could sense that something was different between Sherlock and John. Something that wasn’t there before.

“Yes,” I said quietly.

“Doctor,” Clara started.

“Clara, this is Sherlock and John,” I told her.

“Wait, like Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson,” She commented in disbelief.

“It’s a long story,” I said.

“I’m John, nice to meet you,” John approached Clara and shook her hand.

“You too! And you must be Sherlock,” Clara said, approaching him excitedly.

“Yes it would seem so,” Sherlock said, but he was distracted as he was examining the new form of the TARDIS.
