" this seems very dangerous, no Isaac would do no such thing, its too risky. " Scott his alpha said.
In his defense he already lost his first love he didn't want to loose his friend too, especially when there was no guarantee of Allison's return or Isaac's well being.
Isaac understood it well and was happy to have such caring friend but he has to do it if Allison can be brave and die on battlefield saving others and Scott can be a good friend always defending others, then Isaac is a good friend too and will take any amount of risk to for his friends. So he said, "I am have to do it Scott for our pack,for our friend,for Allison,  ".
" Isaac you don't have to go through with this. "Chris Allison's father said it. It's so kind of him to say that even though Allison died saving Isaac's life. Chris can overlook this but Isaac remember it like a recurring nightmare.
They were outside the building Lydia was trapped in, fighting  Onis. Isaac tackling three at once, but he alone was nothing compared to a possible immortal Oni who turned into black smoke when attacked and was a skilled ninja making it all the more difficult for Isaac to fight.
At first the idea was only to hold them off while Scott rescues Lydia but it was becoming too much and Isaac realized his wolf isn't strong enough to beat them. just as he was about to give up and accept his tragic death Allison, his crush shot an arrow the one with an silver head which pierced through one of the Oni's chests killing them instantly. Allison realized that silver can kill oni, before she can do anything about it another oni drove a sword through her killing her. she died in Scott's arms confessing her undying love for him, since Isaac always had a crush on Allison he felt a bit covetous . but his guilt was way more than any other feeling . It even surmounts the pain he was feeling for loosing his friend.

And watching others equally or maybe more so in pain for loosing Allison his guilt increased, feeling somehow responsible for her death.

The guilt increased and became a stone. A stone, weighing on his heart getting heavier and heavier by every minute. Isaac feared that if he didn't do  something about it the stone will become a rock that'll no longer let his heart,  beat.

so he brushed off all the doubts and fears that were brewing inside his head and gave affirmative nod to Chris, " I'm not only doing this to bring Allison back , i'm doing it so that i don't loose myself."

somehow this answer was enough to convince everyone showing how Isaac was serious about it. Scott couldn't help but hug at that and assured him that everything will be fine, and maybe Isaac needed that bit of motivation. Patting each others back for comfort.

Ending the sweet gesture they turned to Deaton, "So what do we have to do ?" isaac asked. "

"Oh , its quite simple actually we have to kill you but keep you alive."

Issac was given the dose of psilocybin due to which he was having hallucinations and tripping effects.  They all circled around him and continuously attacked him. Issac was unable to defend himself as he was tied. All these things added up worked in a negative way for Issac. Scott and Derek using their wolf claws, Kira and styles using weapons on him.

But it was necessary to do so as the thing needed to be done was to get Isaac's wolf to sleep in order to wake his fox. Thus deaton gave him psilocybin but in fear that the drug will completely kill him he told others to harm him so that so that his healing metabolism works. And helps him to survive this painful thing but it was the only way. Until now Lydia the banshee was just standing paralyzed, afraid of what she was seeing when her banshee self sensed that Isaac was close to death she did that gut wrenching, fear crippling scream of hers forcing everyone else to stop.

It was then that Scott noticed that
Isaac had stopped responding to pain and was lying on the floor in pool of his own blood. everybody were staring at his unconscious body. Derek moved slowly towards Isaac to check when suddenly Derek was caught by his neck and thrown off to a distance by a monstrous strength.

They all were shocked when they saw Isaac opening his eyes.
