Timothy's P.O.V.

What in the Space Galactics was I thinking? Losing my Virginty to Samantha Bolton!

The same girl that told everyone freshman year I was a freak, because I liked Star Wars and Anime.

Okay... First off, Luke Skywalker was the shiz and still is.

Second, I'd still rather read Vampire Knight and Kuro over watching an all out action packed movie, and third of all, give a kid a break I was fifteen then with a unibrow!

As I walk to school with my backpack slung over my shoulder. I ask myself , "Why did I let it get that far?" A level headed guy like me wouldn't do such a thing. But I am a guy. I just let myself get farther than I wanted. I suppose?

Don't get me wrong. I'm very ashamed. I mean she hates me, she was desperate, she was drunk, and she hates me.

Literally... She told me, she hated me when she first layed eyes on me in my front yard.

I know what your thinking... Why in the hell do you want to be her friend.

It's not what she said before we slept together that changed my views on Samantha but what happened afterwards.

Flashback

After the taking of my V-Card. Samantha started crying and I held her to be comforting.

She drunkingly smiled up at me. "I didn't mean to judge you, Timmy."

" I just didn't want you to judge me...", she sighed falling asleep in my arms.

Something inside of me felt for her. Not exactly like a lover but compassion for a friend.

I guess it made me feel like she cared if she didn't want me to judge her.

"Samantha, the Blunt Party Girl actally cares what I think about her. Why should she care about me judging her?" I kept thinking as I made my way up the stairs into the Newside Moore High School.

Instantly, I saw two familiar faces. David and Jessica my two best friends. David and Jessica are  special. It's not everyday you find a pair of friends that can make a movie better than David Lynch within a week.

David is asian. Which pretty much in it's self makes him a nerd.

Seriously though I think he'd make a better comedian than anything. Jessica is the basic teenage girl but with a deep love of books and films.

"Timmy!", shriecked Jessica running into me. I hugged her and laughed at her freshman giddiness. David, a senior like me leaned over her to fist bump with me.

"Get your panties out of a twist. It's just Tim.", said David smartly ducking just in time to dodge Jessica's fist. David squinted his asian eyes, "Wow! You could have seriously hurt me!", he squealed.

"That's what I intended on doing!", she said fiercely flipping her red hair out of her face. I smirked. This was a daily routine for me.

Listening to them fight. They made great films but couldn't agree on anything, together.

Then I heard someone yelling over David and Jessica. I glanced up for a moment. Only to look up again.

Samantha was being felt up by Brian Miller and she didn't seem to be enjoying it.

She winced and cursed as he grabbed her chin and leaned in to kiss her. Something roused awake inside me.

"Hey Brian!", I shouted over the crowd. Brian rolled his eyes and glanced over at me.

"What?", he growled.

"Just let go of the girl. It's pretty clear she's not enjoying what you're doing.", I stated as Samantha's eyes filled with fear. Not because of Brian. Because of me?

Brian smirked, "Does the little geek have a crush on Samantha here?" He pulled her waist in closer to his side. I looked into her eyes and she seemed like she was scared of what I could say.

I walked through the forming crowd. Calmly and cooly tapping my pencil against my chin.

"You know what? Brian.", I smirked.

"I feel bad for you. Yeah, I know it's weird that I the lowly geek feel sorry for you, the jock. You see... I'll have my brain to make it through all the problems I face."

I continued to walk slowly and relaxed. "You will always have to depend on mommy and daddy. Thinking you can have everything."

I smiled as I stopped infront of him. He looked at me full of fury and confusion.

As the bell rang and the crowd disperced. Brian looked around, nervously and I found my chance to grab Samantha's arm and run for it down the hall. "You can't have everything!", I laughed.

I heard him far behind us fume in rage.

Once we made it to the empty science lab. Samantha yanked her hand away. "What the heck was that?", she shouted.

"I was just trying to help.", I shouted back. "What was I supposed to do? Let him have his way with you right there in the hall?"

Her brows furrowed and she threw her hands up in the air. "Well... Did you have to do that?"

"I'm sorry. But I take up for my friends...", I said tensely standing up for myself.

I sighed in frustration.  "Is it really so bad to be friends with me?", I asked.

Samantha's face went from angry to an expression I couldn't quite read it as she sat on one of the lab counters.

Suddenly she smiled, "I've got to admit. It was hilarious to see his face so clueless."

She started to laugh and I cracked a smiled.

"I know and his reaction when we ran away. He reacted as if he just lost a game!", I laughed. Before I knew it. We both were doubled over in laughter.

"Your not that bad for a Geek.", she smiled. "Hey! I'm not a geek.", I smirked.

"Uh huh...", she laughed taking her ponytail out. She shook her head as her auburn wavy hair fell over her shoulders.

She was pretty but totally... not my type. My type leaned more toward emo. Probably due to the fact the only other girlfriend I've had was emo.

"Can I ask you a question?", she asked leaning her head a bit.

I nodded ,"Sure."

"Do you want to go to Nathan Cook's Party? I can get you an invite."

I smiled genuinely ,"Nah parties aren't really my thing."

"Oh?", she said back somewhat surprised from the look of her dark green eyes widening and her lifted brows.

"But, We could hang out sometime.", I said.

"Publicly.", I added as her face fell. She quickly regained a smile,"Sure, Maybe sometime."
