It had been about a week since we had all talked about the x factor auditions, and we had met every day after school. we had sat for like three days trying to decide which song we were going to audition with, choosing 'a drop in the ocean' by ron pope. we practiced for two hours everyday after school, and i had to admit... we sounded pretty good.

liam started the song, followed by harry, then all of us sang the chorus. we harmonized really well.

"this is gonna be great.. were gonna be great!" niall shouted excitedly as we finished the song perfectly once more.

"i agree!" liam shouted

"you guys are so loud" i said laughing

"get used to it little lady" zayn said with a flirty wink

did i happen to tell you that him and i had grown exceptionally close? you could call us bestfriends i guess. for the first time all year, i was actually happy that we moved.

"im sure i'll have to, if we win x factor we'll be going on tour together! ahh, this is so exciting!" i squeeled

"woah, dont ever make that noise again.. you sounded like a retarded bird" louis said, immitating my noise.

"whatever, lets run through it three more times then we can play videogames or something" i said laughing

again, we got through the song all three times perfectly. we actually sounded like a band.

"FIFA TOURNAMENT!" harry yelled as soon as we finished the last note.

that boy.

"YES!" louis yelled, him and harry grabbing the xbox remotes, battling each other and yelling at the top of their lungs.

i sat on zayns large couch, next to him and liam while niall was rummaging through the fridge in the kitchen looking for food.

"so, you ready for this?" zayn asked as he put his arm around me.

"definitelly" i said with a huge smile.

i guess you could say zayn has brought out my more loud, fun side. dont get me wrong, i definitelly like being outgoing. i wish i was like this at the begining of the year, it probably would've had friends :P zayn is amazingly sweet. in the past week, i think ive started to grow feelings for this boy. more than a friend? who knows.. possibly. then again, how could you not? those puppy dog golden eyes, and adorable laugh. ughh stop! he wouldnt like me more than a friend. were JUST friends. nothing more.

i looked up to see him staring down at me with his gorgeous eyes.

"what are you thinking about?" he asked with a smile

"stuff" i said sticking my tongue out

i just wanted to kiss him.

no, stop thinking like that! jeez.

i pretended to look at my the time on my phone.

"oh gosh, i have to go. bye!" i said quickly grabbing my things.

"wait, i'll give you a ride" zayn said, grabbing his car keys and letterman jacket.

i was trying to get away from you, ugh.

maybe if you werent so adorable, i wouldnt be getting this feeling. why do things always happen like this? the girl that no one likes, falls for the boy she can never have.

it seems like thats how it always works out.. then he gets with the popular girl, and you live happily never after. POOF. forever friendzoned.

"PAETON!" zayn yelled, snapping me out of my dazed state.

"hmm?" i mumbled

"you were totally zoned out" he said laughing as we walked to his car.

the ride to my house was comfortably silent, as i sat there and tried to decifer my feelings for the amazing boy sitting next to me.

it seemed like only five days ago, i wouldnt have even thought about him like this. its wierd how feelings can change so fast.

"thanks for the ride" i said to him as i grabbed my bag and began to step out.

"your welcome love" he said and gave me a sweet smile as he pulled out of my driveway.

i walked up to my room and blasted frank ocean as i studied for my world geography final, somewhat distant in my thoughts about him.

I fell asleep with the song catch me by demi lovato playing quietly in my ears, perfectly fitting my situation.
