Why me? (Jerrie)

November Part 4

Jade's (P.O.V)

Pez and I were walking to school, after the events at the dance I was worried for her. She didn't seem to care if Zayn got to her today but I knew it was gonna be worse than anything he's ever done before. "Baba you have to promise me you won't get involved if he starts hurting me, anything he does to me will heal in days but he could damage your back for life. I won't let him do that to you, you've worked too hard." Of course Perrie sensed my nerves. "But it hurts me to watch you get hurt." I replied quietly. "I know Baba but we can't risk your health, and I know you, Laur and DJ will be there after whatever happens happens." I nodded and she took me into her arms.

At the gates we saw the dynamic duo arguing over Normani. "I cannot believe you Dinah."

"I said I was sorry OK what else do you want from me?"

"Maybe for you to actually mean it would be a start."

We reached them apprehensively. "Guys what's wrong, why are you arguing?" I asked concerned.  "Dinah ditched me while I was upset and crying to go on a date with Normani, but she told me her family needed her home. She lied to me and left when I needed her most." Lauren said despondently. Dinah had this guilty look on her face telling me it was all true. "Wait hold up, why were you upset and if Dinah left why didn't you just call one of us." Perrie asked. "I was crying because my girlfriend cheated on me and I didn't call either if you cause I was so upset that I was actually jealous that you two have such a good relationship. It was stupid." She said tearing up. The both of us hugged her and Dinah just stood there awkwardly. "Dinah how could you leave her like that, Lauren not wanting to call us may have been a bit irrational, but leaving really was stupid." I questioned. "I wasn't thinking, I was so blinded with excitement that I didn't stop to think that whatever it was you were upset about may have actually been a big deal." She said honestly.  

"I really am sorry Lo, I didn't realise it was that important, you didn't even tell me why you were crying." She said, her voice cracking. "In the entirety of you knowing me how many times have you seen me properly cry like that?" Laur asked. "Never, not even when we watched John Wick and they killed the dog." Dinah confessed. "Exactly." Lo said walking away.

"I'll go with Lauren, you stay with DJ, we'll work it out." Perrie said chasing after her. "You're going to have a hell of a lot of work to do to prove how sorry you are, you messed up big time."

Perrie's (P.O.V)

I was running to catch up with Lauren who walked away surprisingly fast, she turned into the bathrooms and when I finally reached her I could hear sniffling coming from one of the stalls. "Lauren, please open up, it's just me." I said. She unlocked the stall and opened the door revealing her red puffy eyes. "I feel like an idiot." She said between hiccups. "Wanna tell me what happened?" I asked and guided her out to sit on the sink. "Vero and I had been dating for months, that was the night I was gonna tell her I loved her, I was so ready, her mum let me in the house. When I walked upstairs I could hear noises coming from her room. I opened the door and she was in bed with some other girl, she didn't even try to apologise for throwing away everything we had. She just told me she was only with me cause she thought I would put out." Lauren replied finally breaking down into sobs. I held her there even after the bell rang, at one point a teacher came in and tried to tell us to go to class but saw Lauren and just handed us late slips to give I when we were ready to leave. 

I went with Lauren, not Dinah because we had all the same classes today so I could keep an eye on her and cheer her up a bit. It also meant that when Zayn got me Jade wouldn't be around to see it hopefully. My wish was granted because the minute I walked out of second period I was met with a fist to the face and the beating began.
