Irresolute Derision

Chapter 1

“Hurry up Azaria!!”

Lilith shouts for what feels like the tenth time in ten minuets.

“ You try walking in these five inch death traps! ”

I'm already 5'10 wonder why she made me wear them.

I feel like a baby giraffe learning to walk.

“ They're not that high stop complaining.”

After that we walk in silence then we reach.

Illumination even the name's dramatic.

It better be worth missing Riverdale's season 2 finale.

There's a long ass line it looks like we'll be here for sometime so I remove my phone from my clutch and open CW, yes I'm that committed, and start watching Riverdale.

I hear Lilith say something about skipping but I ignore her. Five minuets later she's back and drags me with her to the front.

“ Hi Marco this my plus one Azaria.”

Marco looks at me from top to bottom.

“Save me a dance okay.” he says while licking his lips.

Asshole.

With that we walk into the club. Well it lives up to it's name this place is the definition of the word illuminate.

I head straight to the bar to order a drink while Lilith goes to find us where to sit.

“ Can I get two glasses vodka on the rocks please, thank you.” I tell well shout to the bar tender.

I try to think about how my mum will react when she sees me upstage tomorrow getting my degree.

“Getting  'em for your boyfriend doll face?”

Peaches, as I have named him, asks.

Why is he peaches? Because of his tan.

He rivals Trump hair.

“ No they're for me now stop asking and start making.” I reply.

“Are you sure these are some really strong liquors and I don't wanna see you die from alcohol poisoning why don't you try the Long Island Tea.”

“ Listen  I can hold my drinks very well thanks for the concern but  the only way I would die is if you poisoned my drinks or I was shot. So?” I look at him waiting for an answer but he turns around and pours my drinks.

“ Here oh and the name's Pitch Bower.” I giggle when I hear his name. I was close.

“ Azaria King. Thanks and see you later Peaches!.” with that I walk away towards my table with the girls when I get there I find Lilith alone.

“ Where are they Lil,did they say we wait for them. ” I ask her.

“Sarah went with Josh and Ashley's with Janice so I don't think they'd mind if we left.”

“Okay so lets go you can crash at my place.” I said while getting up.

Lilith looked a bit doubtful and weary when I said that we could go.

“But are you sure we should leave Sarah and Ashley... They'll come bite our heads off tomorrow.”

“Let's go I'll deal with them okay.”

As she grabs her things I drink up.

Never waste alcohol especially Vodka.

“ If you say so.”

She gets up and we start heading to the exit on our way Lilith is stopped by some guy who's liked her since first year, I think he's name's Carl, and so I head out alone.

As I'm walking in the alley towards the road I can't help but feel that I'm being watched so I walk faster.

Just when I'm about to reach the corner I feel something sharp prick me I turn to check it out when I see to large men heading my way.

My body reacts before I can think and just when I'm about to start running  everything starts slowing down and before I know it I black out.

Fucking tranquilizers.
