Kuchisake - Onna (Slit - Mouthed Woman)

There once lived a woman who was married to a samurai. The woman was unbelievably beautiful and she knew it. Everyday she would walk

up to people and ask them whether she was beautiful, and of course the answer was usually yes. Her husband was getting sick and tired of her

doing this so he decided to teach her a lesson she would never forget. On day when she came home her husband took a knife and slit her mouth

from ear to ear.

" Now who will think you are beautiful?" he taunted her.

Nowadays, she is spotted roaming around Japan wearing a beige coat and a surgical mask. The slit mouthed woman is will usually come to

children and ask a question. The question is "Am I beautiful?". If you respond with no she will take out her scissors and murder you. If you say

yes she will rip off her mask and yell "How about now?!?!?". Now if you say no she will murder you, but even if you say yes she will still harm

you. She will take out her scissors and cut your face from ear to ear to make you look like her. There is no real escape, but some students found

that if you respond with average when she asks her question, it will confuse her giving enough time for you to escape.
