The next day, Kace felt even worse than yesterday. Back in the cage Kace thought. When she arrived at school she avoided Logan. Like, hard core avoiding. Kace avoided eye contact, physical contact, and just to be sure, she didin't think of the real reason she stayed home. I only told my besties, Tanya and Kate the reason. Everybody else, well, Kace told them either that she was sick or she just didin't want to go to school. Kace almost (notice almost ) forgot about Logan when, at lunch, he slid up across from her and whispered "Ummm... Do you want to reschedule the meetup?" horrified, she replied "Ummm... I'll think about it."
