When I first heard Wesley's voice in my head I knew that I needed to listen to what he was saying. In the beginning, his voice was louder and more demanding than Oliver's. I would later learn that he doesn't share freely very often, but when he does, he's a mental force to be reckoned with. Oliver, on the other hand, is open with his thoughts and feelings, often sharing things with me that I don't even want to know about. Thanks to him I know that Wes has twenty-six hairs on one big toe and nineteen on the other. Oliver himself can roll his belly like a belly dancer and he often does it to gross Wes out. Thrilling stuff, right? These are the odd tidbits that I have to dig through to get to the meat and bones of their life together.Even with how open they can be, there are some parts of their story that they closely guard. The College Years aren't their happiest times and they don't like reliving them after how much pain they went through at their start. They close up and refuse to talk and I'm left with barely anything to work with. Even though I knew better, I tried to force out their story. I think my cat could have walked across my keyboard and wrote something better than what I was trying to create. It's funny how words can pour from your soul when you aren't constantly thinking about what happens next. Even funnier how writing out 500 words while mentally constipated can take hours and even days to get out.
Shout out to the amazing people that were kind enough to talk sense and help me come to the realization that I needed to stop being stupid and emotional (my words, not theirs) and write what Wes and Ollie would share with me. I took their advice and now we have a brand new version of Zenith that I'm actually enjoying. The words are spilling forth and I'm trying to keep up with the rapid fire images that I'm getting.
Be warned, though, this new version of Zenith is going to be different from Nadir. Their first mini novella (I can't call it a novella or a book, because that word count, yeesh!) was written in first person. Zenith is not. When the words finally started coming, I didn't want to jinx it by changing them from third to first.
Now that you've had to suffer through my rambling, go forth and enjoy Wesley and Oliver's future!
And if you see @mDevil7 @asmilingrainbow4u @Raee111 @Tinkersbaby @DevilInWhite @Night_Personified or @direfaery tell them thanks for making this possible.
